The best place to be in Sapa. Everything was super clean. The family dinner was tasty and social. The girls and their families that run the house are so friendly. The atmosphere is also great for solo travelers - I met so many good people here. The rooms were a bit cold but the hot showers are great and the blankets were really warm. I'd stay here again!

We were not sure whether to stay in Sapa or go to more remote area. At the end we are really happy we chose Hmong Sister House. It is a bit far, but take it as an advantage! The surroundings are beautiful. You wake up and you are right where you want to be. Sapa is just a tourist trap you dont want to fall into. Every member of the family is amazing and they will make you feel like you are part of it. We stayed in a dormitory but beds were super comfortable. You will love the delicious

My brother and I stayed at the Hmong Sister House for 3 days. Upon arrival, Zizi and her family were very welcoming and accomadating to us. It was easy to book a hike through them as well. Additionally, the dinner prepared by Zizi was a great way to enjoy local Hmong food and good company. The views from the Hmong Sister house are spectacular, especially on a clear day. If you're looking to get away from Sapa town and experience how a Hmong family lives, I recommend staying here!

Lyly has to be one of the nicest people we have met in Vietnam. She is very caring about those who stay with her. She sent someone to collect is in heavy rain and when we were late coming back she sent a concerned message to ask if we needed any help. She even cooked us breakfast late before we left so we had eaten and drove our luggage to where we got a taxi. The room was lovely with amazing views. Would highly recommend.

Our most amazing experience was the homestay and its owner: we arrived very early in the morning (3-4am). But still, the lady opened us the door telling us, that the rooms are now fully booked, check-in is available from 9 am. They were so warm welcoming, that they arranged for us pretty unique, super cool beds in the hall! We loved it!!! Next day we had the opportunity to eat dinner with the owner, which was the most delicious vietnamese food ever. We already miss this fairy tale place

I have been travelling around Vietnam for a few years now and I can honestly say this is the best value homestay I have stayed at. The host family, Lyly are exceptional, so friendly and helpful. They will do everything they can to make sure you stay is perfect...collections/drop off, food selection, local walks and places of interest, motorbike hire (good price). The food menu is great at such good prices and it was a pleasure to eat with the family including 2 lovely children

The homestay is full of backpacker, so dont be disappointed that it is not as familiar as you aspected. The location is really nice, and you can start your tracks by yourself from here. Be aware, during the day you have to pay 75.000 dong to enter the village. this ticket is valid for 3 days, so keep it. The facility is clean, you have warm blanckets, the food is good and it is easy to meet new people .

Nice guesthouse with tasty and sociable family dinners every evening. The bed-heater in our bedroom was a life-saver for the cold December nights. However, the guesthouse is rurally located, and we personally preferred our latter stay in Sapa Town (due to comfort and dining options). But, for an authentic, rural stay in the heart of the hiking action, this is a good option.
