prefer female only rooms , the 4 bed dorm , allow 1 bed to be rented not entire 4 beds. Only thing was people smoking in non smoking tables , signs every where , no smoking .

Loved our stay there! The courtyard was incredibly cool. They had an artificial waterfall going into a little wading pool, a little treehouse that my friend was obsessed with, an outdoor shower (there are some inside as well) and very clean rooms with super comfortable linen! Will definitely stay there again when I go back down to south Florida as an all female group!

Pleased with the location, staff, friendliness, spring waterfall, tree house. The staff were especially my favorite. Any question I had was met with a smile and help. A mixup with the website (I booked a room they didn't have) led the management to upgrade my reservation. I'm unsure, therefore, if lockers were provided in the shared rooms. The single room I had was basic, eccentric, moderately clean, and perfect for staying overnight near the national parks. Lovely, funky decor.

Great place if you don’t care for the fancy stuff and all you need is a place to sleep. Worked out perfect for my early morning scuba dives in Key Largo where room average is $250. The shared bathrooms worked out to an advantage for us. The checkout time is 11 am, we checked out early morning and they still let us use the shower in the afternoon after our scuba dive. I would definitely stay here again.

Definitely unique. Staff is friendly, bathroom new and very clean. Card locks on the doors. Every room has a special theme which is artistically appealing, as well as the huge, magnificent garden. Easy to reach the Everglades and the Keys from there, however the neighborhood itself is not nice. My main concern were: no lockers, rather old furniture (beds), packed rooms and no socializing when I was there, probably catalyzed by the presence of apparent non-travelling senior citizens in the dorms.

We booked an all female dorm. That wasn't available, so we got a free upgrade to a private room which was very nice. The AC in the room was very loud, so we couldn't sleep when it was on. There was a window to the hallway and the light was on all night. Bed was not comfortable. We expected some young people to be there, but besides us everyone was at least over 40 and seemed intoxicated in one way or another. No one harassed us, but the vibe was really weird. Kitchen was very poorly equipped

It smelled so bad that I left. Couldn't even find the property manager. It is not hostile, it is a homeless shelter, it is horrible, I would not recommend it. And I am a very easy to please person, I would just say that this is not SAFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Extremely sketchy people

Everything about this hostel is just... WRONG. From the uncaring reception (had to pay cash because they don't have a card reader, had to beg for a second blanket, $2 deposit for a towel), through the dirty facilities, the 1 bathroom w/shower per 8-person room making it so you're always rushing out, the endless arbitrary rules (no check in after 9pm) and the overall atmosphere made this one of the worst hostels I've ever been to. If you're doing the Everglades, maybe. Otherwise, avoid.

AVOID this hostel, it’s a SHAME! We arrived late after a very long trip. The host opened the door with no shirt in pyjama and yelled at us. He said that we « disturbed him ». He turned on the lights to show us the beds and woke up everybody because he slammed the door. He didn’t give us enough linen (we slept on the mattress). The kitchen was so disgusting. It was mentioned that the breakfast was included but we had nothing. Nobody was there to help us or to do the check out.
