This is a really nice comfortable hostel. Just be aware that they don't accept credit cards - even though it says that they do.

I stayed there at the beginning and end of my trip to Patagonia. The owners didn’t speak much English but they accommodated my broken Spanish and were very helpful. They allowed us to keep our bags there during our hike, and there was no place to lock them securely but nothing was stolen. They also drove us to the bus station and called us an airport taxi. There was no social scene, but it was quiet at night which allowed us to recover from an overnight flight.

    Fabulous

This was a lovely place and the owners were wonderful and so welcoming! The only thing was it was lacking the hostel atmosphere. I felt like I was just in a regular hotel. It was also a little farther from the city center than I would like to be, but other than that it was really nice!

The hostel had a lovely room and very clean. The common area upstairs was not usable as there was a lot of clutter in the area. The breakfast was basic but suffice. The lady was very nice and welcoming but using the kitchen felt uncomfortable as they were cooking at the same time. The Internet was good but not much of a hostel atmosphere.

    Very Good

When I was there, it had no atmosphere. It seemed that some of the rooms were rented to people who work there. Hostel was missing the backpacker vibe.

    Good

I'll start out with the positives, the owners were wonderful and it had a free breakfast of toast, coffee, tea and juice and it was within a 10 min walk to a few good restaurants and mini marts. Otherwise, it's a pretty far walk to the city center, we had one bathroom/shower room for 6 rooms of people, and the shower was pretty run down. The linens were okay, but also pretty dated and the house was sort of a maze to walk through.

This was a very strange hostel & more like an airB&b with no atmosphere/freedom. You go in and awkwardly feels like you’re in someone’s home, living room all. The owners kid gets the door speaking 0 English, and they don’t know what my booking is for. I then get taken to a room and had to ASK for a key to my own room. No hostel atmosphere & what seemed like the local construction workers were there, making it awkward for me -a solo female. Only pro is that it was clean & private room was cozy.
