    Superb

This sweet little place is more like a homestay and a chance to experience the real life in Nicaragua. The inexpensive homecooked meals are extra but are out of this world. The food was the best we've had in Nicaragua. I loved Lisseth. She was so helpful and enjoyable to chat with. This is one stay in Nicaragua that will stay in my heart forever. I highly recommend it. - Lora and Michelle

Cute little place! Staff is really friendly and you have the option of them cooking for you since there’s not really other food really close by. Nice quiet place to relax. The chicken bus comes right by the hostel which is nice and will take you to places like Ojo de Agua and Santa domingo beach. (We just walked to Ojo de Agua though only like a 40 min walk)

    Superb

This is a very basic place to stay with no frills. Rosario speaks no English, I speak very, very little Spanish but between a phonecall to her daughter who speaks English and Google translate, we got by. Rosario cooked for me every night. She arranged a guide to take me up the Volcano and even made me a Volcano pack up when I had to leave at 05:30. Highly recommend this as a place to stay. One thing I would advise is to put a towel in the gap under the door to keep unwanted visitors out.

    Fabulous

I loved that place. It's a family owned hostel snd the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. They made a mistake and overbooked but they didn't make a big deal out of it and figured things out very quickly. We ordered a dinner for our first night there and it was delicious (cooked by the mama of the owner). The breakfast was good as well. I recommend! The only thing is it's far from everything (except Ojo del Agua). It'd far from the port and far from the center (Moyogalpa). You really need to have a scooter, I would have been so sad without one since it's so far and very isolated.

Nice hostel! Very simple but had everything necessary for a night’s stay. The owner’s family was very kind and helped us with anything we needed.

    Very Good

Lovely Host family. They offer to cook for you. I want to give them more but their dogs barked outside my room for literal hours and when I tried to calm them down they barked more was a frustrating few hours.
