Convenient location. Clean and secure. Reliable wifi and hot water. The bed and linens were super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

We got there quite late, almost 12 AM the next day and the host was there to let us in. It appears he lives there. I didn't catch their names (I saw a lady in addition to the man in the morning) but they were quite nice, but didn't know a word of English unfortunately. Breakfast was available, beds were comfortable, washroom was so-so (like the other guest said, water temperature was hard to adjust). My friend had altitude sickness and they gave his tea to drink.

I arrived late at the airport so I arranged pickup for US$30 with the hostel. The hostel is close to bars and restaurant. The room has only a window to the inner court, so you need to close the curtain for privacy. No heating in the room I felt it was cold. The breakfast is simple, egg, toast, jam, bread, juice, fruit, tea, coffee. You can use the kitchen and fridge. TV in the room has English speaking channels. Took a public bus to the Mitad del Mondo for about 1$ return. It's a cheap hostel.
