Very decent, good breakfast, and although on a old house, it is very interestingly built. The staff is super helpful. Probably it's the best hostel in town. They also have their own tours to Cotopaxi and Quilotoa, but we didn't use that.

Only stayed one night, but this was a good place to stay ahead of starting the Quilotoa Loop trek. Comfortable, clean and they have a very secure basement area where you can store your things for a small fee if you are going hiking. It's also walking distance from the bus terminal.

    Fabulous

Friendly staff, easy walk or cab from Latacunga bus station. Room was sparsely furnished but clean. Breakfast was basic: banana, 2 soft rolls with butter and jam, fresh-squeezed juice. Our room was right next to kitchen and shared toilet/shower, so not very quiet. Bag storage (1st day free, $1/day thereafter) for those doing Quilotoa loop a plus.

Good Hostel. Pros: Good kitchen Good WiFi in the kitchen/cafe area Free tea and coffee Hot water showers on first floor Good roof terrace with great views Very close to the bus terminal (10 min walk, 2 min taxi) Good breakfast included. Security lockers to put valuables. Lots of toilets and showers. Great affordable tours to Cotopaxi/Quilotoa Cons: No WiFi in the downstairs bedroom. Cold showers on second floor. Got quite cold throughout the hostel during the night. Would recommend!!

    Fabulous

I liked it more than I had been expecting, given some of the reviews. The rooms were comfortable, although top bunks had to outlets and there were no individual lights. Great place to rest and store luggage for backpacking and hiking nearby. If you sleep on the lower level you have to go upstairs to share the two showers/toilets with the rooms upstairs. Great place to find resources about what to do nearby. Didn't spend enough time there to comment on social aspect of the hostel.

Convenient location to go to Cotopaxi and Quilotoa. The staff were helpful and the breakfast is ok. Doom rooms are located in the basement so there’s no window but it was totally fine for me as I only stayed there for few days.

    Very Good

This hostel is okay. We found the showers/toilets to be very dirty and the trash beside the toilet was always so full that the toiletpaper was coming out. Showers were cold. Breakfast okay.

I honestly don’t know why this hostel has such a high rating. The staff were rude, and the facilities are terrible. The showers are small and there’s no where to change after. And it seems they all the locks on the showers are broken. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm which was in a cold damp dungeon. They don’t even have proper bed sheets- smaller than the actual bed so there’s nothing between you and the blankets. On my first morning breakfast was 15m late, so we almost missed the bus to quilotoa.

Fine for one night but we opted to stay elsewhere when we returned to Latacunga. Fairly rude staff and nickle and diming on everything. Mediocre old rooms and cold shower. Charges for drinking water and back storage. Kitchen was closed for the night that we stayed with no warning.
