Good hostel in a great location. It's run by a lovely family and they're always willing to help. The atmosphere is informal – people use the terrace to party on weekends but it did not disturb me at all. Excellent experience.

Very good location! Very clean! There’s not a hostel vibe like in the Selina or Iguana but if you wanna chill or be in a quiet hostel, there is the place to be. Staff are very very nice and helpful.

I was very happy with my stay at Hostel de Las Américas. It was in close proximity to the different sights in the city and I felt very safe walking home alone even at night. I loved the rooftop and the bed was good.

Liked the location and having a window in our dorm room. Staff was pleasant. Didnt like that there was no room to chill out except the rooftop. Only stayed one night although scheduled for 2. Hostel was too dark for me, not enough natural light.

    Very Good

Great location and value for money. There is a bar nearby which is loud so difficult for any early nights if you have trips booked. Staff were nice. Roof terrace is nice to have a morning coffee on. Not much of an atmosphere or a social hostel apart from meeting people in dorms. They sorted my van pick up to San Hosè from the hostel which was super easy. Would stay again

Was last resort (dias los muertos). When I got there they told me my booking was 'cancelled', BUT I had it booked on the website. They said the same to the guy before me who did it via another website. Eventually after begging them, they gave me a bed, which turned out to be a room with a whole family (2 adults 3 kids sharing 2 beds). Really wtf. Common area was terrible, people were all really weird and strange, don't go here unless you really really do not have other options... terrible hostel.
