I absolutely LOVED my stay at Hostal El Grial! I stayed here the night before and after my Salkantay Trek and it was phenomenal. The staff were super friendly. When I arrived they didn’t have the room type which I booked available (a single with shared bathroom) so they upgraded me to a spacious room with three beds and private bathroom! When I got back from my tour my luggage was already in the room waiting for me! The breakfast was amazing and the location was perfect. Thanks so much!

I can absolutely recommend this hostel. Staff are very friendly and productively offered a packed breakfast for a early day trip. The location in San Blas is excellent. The bed was comfy and the breakfast very good. They also have hot drinks available all day. I enjoyed my stay here.

What a great wonderful place to stay. The hostel decor itself is charming and authentic. The hostel staff are so nice and accommodating. The location couldn’t be better. The beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable and the free breakfast wasn’t that great but fine for a quick bite. Overall very satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

The people here are super nice and the location is about a 7 minute walk from the main square. We booked a private room, my only complaint is you can hear everything the walls are very thin and it's an open floorplan so noise travels. However there isn't a ton of people staying here so its manageable.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. A nice continental-style breakfast is offered in the morning. They scheduled a taxi to take me to the train station when I headed out. I would be happy to stay here again! (The only problem I had was not the hostel's fault, but that I stayed in Cusco my first night in Peru--I think it would have been better to stay my first night in Peru somewhere with a lower altitude. I had a bad headache due to the quick increase in elevation.)

Staff super friendly and helpful. The space heaters are a nice amenity and the internet worked better than other hostels I’ve been to. My particular room had great water pressure!

Quiet, relaxed hostal. Decent prices for a private. A little noisy building, but in the end value for your money. Staff is helpfull.
