The owner is super kind and helpful, anything you need to know you can ask him or his wife. The hostal has everything you need and some other nice things that I didn’t expect like free drinkable water and a computer with internet that’s available to use. I had a great experience here!

Regina is an absolute saint. She is incredibly helpful and always ready to call a cab, get bus tickets through her connections and print out your tickets for you at the hostel, cooking breakfast, laundry, you name it! Regina is the best and the hostel is chillin.

Really good value for money!! Owners are very nice and even opened the door for us and provided a bed when our nightbus accidentally arrived at 5am! Kitchen is really good and there's enough places to chill in and around the house. Not the best place to meet people, but if you'r looking for nice and quiet this is the place.

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel. It's walking distance to everything you need and only a few blocks from the main square. Nice and clean facilities and the fan in the room was really helpful at night time. Probably the best price in town. Would stay again.

You probably noticed this is one of the cheapest hostels in San Gil. It is great value for money, but it is definitely a bit of a slog up a steep hill to get here from the centre. Room was ok but the only windows open up into the living area rather than outside. Kitchen is fine and has a nice back yard. The owner speaks French and when we were there almost everyone else seemed to be French, so not much English was spoken. Good for practising our Spanish though!

A nice hostel with cheap, good size private rooms & comfortable beds. No breakfast but you can use the kitchen to cook at certain times & it's quite well equipped. No real atmosphere and the hostel is about 10 minutes walk out of town & up a very steep hill but it's a good place to stay if you're after a cheap private room & not to fussed on the atmosphere!

Its cheap for a reason, nothing wrong with the place but dont expect an upscale hostel. The private rooms dont have a window to outside, only to the communal area that eventually leads to outside, so it does not cool of quickly but its not extremely hot either. Also the doors of the rooms are metal doors that look like they are intended for a shed. Showers are warm and functional and private rooms include a towel. All in all an okay no frills choice that is clean enough for most people
