I stayed here with my teenage son. I am truly sorry that I didn't have all my nights here! French Style decor in the rooms, great location, AMAZING, friendly staff. Good breakfast! I was sad to leave! But they were booked up so we had to go. I can see why, WOW! A GORGEOUS HOSTEL!! Perfect place to stay. They have snacks to buy, near many restaurants within walking distance. (But..AVOID Chinese food next door: INSECTS IN FOOD!! 😷😱😵 We ate a few bites.. Paid only for the drinks and walked OUT!)

Very cheap private rooms, and includes a decent sized, very nice breakfast. Good location in old town. Good kitchen facilities as well. Will be staying again!

Great location near Santo Domingo church, right in the central historical district. Hostel is amazing inside, really pretty and well-maintained. We stayed 2 weeks in a private room w/ensuite, and they cleaned the room every day (a surprise for a hostel, and at this price point). Staff was friendly and gave us good directions to points of interest in Quito. Breakfast was eggs, bread and coffee, with either fruit or cheese every other day. Would recommend!

Nice staff, although they didn't speak English. They have a laundry service which is handy. The breakfast was great, but they start it at 730am and don't budge on this, so you miss out if you have an early bus ride as it's a fair distance from the station. The room was good, except the shower head had a crack and sprayed water into the room each time, because there's no ceiling for the bathroom, just walls in the private room we were in.

This hostel was very practical -- good price, great location, okay atmosphere. If you are a solo traveler, this is perfect! The reception staff is not too helpful, though, and seem inconvenienced when you ask them for assistance or local knowledge.

Luggage storage available and they also are able to organize a taxi to the airport(~45 minutes) for $20USD. Private Rooms were sufficient for what we needed. A slight odour in the bathroom/toilet but otherwise decent facilities. WiFi was sketchy at times but worked slightly better if you left the room. Overall good value and would stay again. Poor instructions regarding use of public transport to hostel from airport - take a taxi! Took us 2.5 hours with 3 buses to get there.

Beautiful building, hot water and good breakfast every morning, and great, easy to access location. The sound of traffic can be heard from the rooms, though, so if you are a light sleeper make sure you bring earplugs while travelling.

We were happy with our stay here. Great value - Old Quito is a bit of a walk to the centre of Quito, Rio Amazonas, and parks but we didn't mind walking. Staff was friendly, breakfast was fine, nice that it is included. Shared bathrooms are small but clean. We did find the traffic noises outside to be very loud but no noise from the other hotel rooms. Bring earplugs and you've got yourself a killer deal

I booked a double room. Liked the room when I first walked in. Was spacious enough & had high ceilings. The bathroom was tiny. There wasn't enough room to sit properly on the toilet facing forward. My legs were crammed against the wall. To get to the shower, I had to step in front of the toilet, then lift my other leg over the toilet to step into the shower. I felt the need to wear flip flops in the shower. My room was right on the Rocafuerte street so it was SUPER loud.
