Very chill hostel about 10 min from the city center by foot. Free breakfast includes fruit and eggs that you can make yourself. When I was there, the hostel was a bit more quiet, but still met nice peoole there. Overall very nice place. Bring mosquito spray (but that is a recommendation for Merida in general)

Very clean and cosy place. Staff was great. Plenty of space to hang out. Rooms are big. Only downside was a very loud water pump which turned on only sometimes, but in general it was a very great hostel

    Very Good

This hostel was a good place to come home to after exploring all day. We were able to make our own food in the kitchen and the breakfast was decent. The option of fruit was nice. Our door did not have a way to close or lock but we were able to store our valuables in the lockers. The hostel was pretty dead until Tony began working there. He really made an effort to bring everyone together for a good time. It wouldn't be the same without him. Thanks Tony!!!

This hostel is run by a bunch of European feminist's between the ages 19 - 25. They do NOT care for anyone stay at the hostel outside of their age and demographic range. Older travelers like me will be treated with no respect, and they will make it know that it is tiring and burdensome accepting our money. Unless your a young European female or (good looking male), otherwise you will NOT be welcome there. Older travelers do these ladies a favor and NOT bother them with your business.

Quite a hostile environment. It seemed like the owner didn't want us to be there and was always telling us off, and other guests agreed. You have to make your own bed, when I extended my stay I had to move beds (seemingly for no reason), unmake my bed and remake it with the same sheets. The free breakfast is just two eggs and some toast which you make yourself. However it is clean and pretty, there is a nice pool and the bar is cheap.
