Perfect hostel to stay in. Very helpful stuff, helping to find the best restaurants and places to visit around Tulum. Highlight was the individually-prepared breakfast, prepared by the stuff (For example scrambled egg sandwich) Cozy lounge area in the garden with hammocks, kitchen and bar. Bring your mosquito spray!

I LOVED it here. We would have stayed for weeks if we didn’t have other plans. The vibe, the dorm, the staff - all amazing! Gustavo is a great guy and was so good to us. Thanks a million!

Maybe Tulum's best-kept secret as far as budget accom is concerned! The first time I was in Tulum I stayed at this hostel but under old management. The hostel had so much potential but needed a little love. I liked it enough though to stay again this year in Tulum. TO MY SURPRISE, they are under new management and the place is lovely! Maybe Tulum's best-kept secret for travellers on a budget. Plenty of great spaces to hang out and a fantastic nightly BBQ of the cleanest-tasting tacos I've had

I had a great time staying in Tulum, the hostel is very nice especially also the backyard and the breakfast ist amazing. There’s a few options you can choose from every day which makes it easy to have a vegetarian or even a vegan option. But the best thing about this place is the owner. He’s the nicest guy ever and super chill. I would definitely stay again.

I booked this hostel under 'Hostel Sheck', unsure why the name hadn't been changed on the website but it was a bit hard to locate due to that. The description also said no kids but there were multiple kids that seemed to be living there. There wasn't a toilet seat in the 12 person dorm. Besides these things, good value for your money, great free breakfast, good location.

    Very Good

Nice place over all but a bit noisy at night because of the loud music. Kind of a party hostel but not really... Neighborhoods is a bit noisy too but very close to the super market and the collectivos stations. If it wasn't of the annoying music late at night, I would have gave a 8.

Didn't like the athomsphere at the hostel. During my stay, people (guests and staff) we drunk most of the time and it didnt make a female traveller feel comfortable. Made the place look like a little dodgy.

The hostel has changed. Not the location stated and now it's a public bar/eatery, this is now only a very primitive kitchen. It didn't feel secure.

It is not an 11 bed dorm room, there are just small dividers in a room of 22 people. With 1 bathroom to share. There are more bathrooms downstairs however. Also no curtains in the room so the sun wakes everybody up early in the morning. Overall it isnt a terrible place, i would just expect to pay closer to $8/night rather than $20.
