This place was just wonderful! The place was great and the rooms were also good! Had a bit of trouble with the showers in the beginning but all worked out. Not a big vibe but was still nice and Emilio (manager) got us a new movie and we all cooked together and had a movie night! I would recommend this place :)

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Hostal Las Cruces - the owners / staff were lovely and couldn't help enough. Emilio gave excellent advice and basically planned my stay for me! Bright, comfortable interior and included breakfast every day that was made to order and delicious!

My fiancé and I had a fantastic stay here - the staff were very friendly offering advice not only on good things to try in Valladolid (including a delicious restaurant!) but also places in the Yucatan area generally. There are areas to relax and the decor is really fun! The breakfast was tasty! I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others!

Owner is very nice and helpful. He offered to drive us to the terminal bus station to save us some time in the morning to go to Chichen itza which was really nice as he didn’t have to. Dorm was clean. Bathroom is very small but clean. They give you a little kit with soap when you arrive. Towels are free. The only cons might be that it’s a bit far of the ado bus station (15min walk).

The hostel itself was in a food location. Just about 10 minutes walk from the bus and collective stations. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and have a lot of information about what to do in and around the city. The hostel was pretty empty when I was there so I can’t comment too much on the atmosphere. There was plenty of area to hang out had there been more people around though. The hostel was very clean and the showers had warm water. Over all a very peaceful stay.

Beautiful decor, staff is friendly and helpful, peaceful atmosphere, great breakfast, two terraces upstairs, a/c on from 7 pm to 7 am, no shelves for upper bunks, only one outlet for each bed in the dorm, no lights for the bunks, very clean, free spring water, kitchen is well furnished. No grocery store nearby, 1 km from plaza. Beautiful colonial city, quieter than Merida and much nicer than Cancun, PDC, Cozumel and Tulum. Ek Balam ruins are great and cenote there and town cenote both fantastic.
