This was our first time staying at hostal. Initially we were hesitant because it was something new. Best decision ever it was truly home away from home. Everybody was so welcoming and respectful. It was a great atmosphere.

Excellent place, I definitely will come back. Excellent price, good atmosphere, everybody have the best attitude, everything is clean, you can find whatever you need there and the owners are excellent people, always willing to help/guide regarding what you can visit around the city and how to go there.

A very nice family run place and I think it's great that you get the feeling of being safe and not some rowdy place. The staff is also very helpful.

Hostel Todos Santos is as multiply useful as the super modern Starbucks in downtown Ensenada - all wired with WiFi and electronics and very comfortable lounge chairs and some serious coffee - except that the hostel has nice warm beds to sleep in to your hearts' content. Bahia Magdalena 245 is located just four blocks beach-side of the ample Smart & Final supermarket on Avenida Reforma.

Great location, just a couple of blocks to Playa Hermosa and quite a few restaurants. The Hostal is run by a family, and sometimes you share the kitchen with them. Having said that, they are terrific, very friendly, ready to help in whatever way they can. Decent price and decent lodgings.

Pretty good place. The staff was nice and friendly. I think only one of the staff speaks English if that is important to you. The building itself is pretty interesting since it's in a neighborhood. Only cons were that the walls were thin so I heard the man snoring in the next room and the shower water never really got warmer than room temperature. Also the hostel is about a 45 min walk from the main strip, but there is a bus like a few streets over that takes you there for 10 pesos.

Felt like more of a guest house rather than hostel. A young family was also living there. There just wasn’t an atmosphere unfortunately. We were moved to a private room which did not have any natural light. The room felt damp and the drains smelled. An alarm or something was beeping every 10 seconds, so it wasn’t easy to sleep. It’s a bit of a walk to the town, but manageable. The kitchen was a good size with plenty of utensils for cooking. It was the cheaper of the 2 hostels listed.

Lady who runs it was nice and helpful. Hostel was a mess, beds piled-up in the corridor and construction work in the yard. Wifi didn't work in the room and the bathroom was pretty grim. Didn't meet any other guests. Not too far from the beach but it's a very long walk into town.
