Vistapark is a great location when visiting the Santander area. It's a 15-25 minute drive from many beautiful beaches on the east and west side of the city. And it's right in the city center of Astillero within short walking distance of shops, restaurants, grocery markets, parks, and the train station.

This is a hotel rather than a hostel but it's very nice, just a short train ride from Santander centre and well worth it.

Lovely hotel in Astillero! Great value. Room featured a comfy bed, a tv, plenty of space and a kettle so we could make coffees and teas too. Wrapped cakes and juices for snacks as well. Lots of restaurants atound the hotel, a large shop opposite and a 10 minute walk to the train station which takes you to Santander. Recommended!

Modern & clean room. We had a balcony with a beautiful view! It's located in a remote area and is not at all touristy. There are some restaurants, pubs, & a really nice park in the area. It only takes around 10-15 minutes to get to Santander on the train (train less than 5 min walk away). A nice place to base yourself if you're looking for a quiet town with an authentic feel. The lady who welcomed us at reception was so friendly and incredibly informative about what we could visit etc.

The Vista Park hostel is a great option whether you would like to stay a few or many days in the city of Santander. It's close enough to the Astillero train station, which is within 15 minutes from Santander Main Station. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant next to the building, which has good service and the food is good enough.

Great view from a very nice room. But the location was miles from the city center. There was a commuter train nearby so that helped. The lack of a kitchen meant more expenses for food. Not much in the way of restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful but not always on duty. I had a question during a time they were supposed to be on duty but couldn't find anyone.

Pictures don't add up to the real thing. The room was small but functional, tv, wifi, and free "breakfast" (muffins juice and instant coffee) included which was nice. Paid for private ensuite but were given a shared bathroom. Luckily we were the only ones on our floor so it worked out in the end. The staff was kind to replace towels the next day and refresh our breakfast items. But the bed sheets were not clean. When we lifted up the blankets there were many strange hairs.....

It was not as described on the website at all.The entrance into the appartment block was dark and had a very stale smell. The elevator was quite shaky and the stairway was dark with the handle broken. While the rooms were very clean there was a musty smell in the rooms.I would not reccomend it or your website

Nobody at reception for checking in and out, we had to wait outside the building for ages to be let in. Door handle came off and we were locked in for a while (bit concerning as a hazard) and plug socket came out of wall too - parts of the building are falling apart. In terms of location, not bad as you can get a train into the centre of Santander for like 3 euros return, which takes roughly 20 mins. The room itself was alright, just needs refurbishing. Would not call it a typical hostel.
