Good deal for a good price. Competent staff in a clean hostel steps away from the kasbah and medina.

The toilet on my floor was broken. And the internet never seemed to work. So low for facilities. I had a lock for my door, but the front door was always open. I had to get water from the bathroom spout. Otherwise it was quite lovely. Great terrace, good location, clean enough.

Solid option in Chouen! Great value. Staff are great and the back patio is cool. Some of the facilities could use some updating.

Nice place with a view to chefchaouen. After the night in the dorm I awoke with lots of bites. Till now nobody could tell me if they are from bedbugs or just mosquitos. So maybe there are bedbugs in the male dorm room...

Best option in the area, but hostel is a good hike up the hill and there was really no atmosphere just a room with a bed. Shared shower was a little messy. Good for Morroco though

La Joya does the job in terms of having a job but it was freakishly cold in the hostel and they had no fresh sheets (which is normal for Morocco but if you’re looking for it, it’s not the place). They have a nice mountain view but terrace is a bit forgotten

The town was too cold for me in Mid November. The water pressure for the hot water was bad. The bedroom was very cramped and too small. It seemed like the mattresses were old.

location is good - just a few mins walk to the main square. the room is really tight, especially the toilet in the room. if you need more space, use the one outside.

I had booked the ensuite private room. The room was very small. With a double bed, cupboard, and small table there was hardly any space to keep lugage and move around. The strangest part is there isn't any bathroom; a shower was provided inside WC! The room was poorly lit and very cold. The shower had no force and water was lukewarm. The daytime receptionist did not speak much English and hence wasn't very useful in answering questions. Certainly not worth the money I paid.

I had a very bad experience at this hostel (I typically don’t write reviews). The staff went out of their way to make you feel unwelcomed. They purposely made loud noises to disturb you and get you to leave. I barely slept both nights due to the noise of the workers (not fellow guests). The lady at the front desk is miserable and rude. The sheets on the bed were dirty and the blankets hadn’t been washed (ever?). Other hostels are much nicer. Photos aren’t an accurate depiction. Avoid avoid!
