great friendly staff very clean other guests considerate and respectful. Not a very disble friendly property unless willing to pay twice the price of a private room to have a ground floor hotel styled room. But staff went out of their way to assist with charging my motility aide and with getting my suitcase to the room. I feel you should state when advertising rooms their are stairs to rooms or no lifts or what rooms are available on groino floors for guests who can't use stairs etc

Great service by staff on check in and out. Very secure but the common areas and bathrooms are a bit dated but functional. My room had no windows so was a but stuffy although a fan was provided and light from a skylight. Overall a good stay.

Basic hostel, in a slightly daggy old building about 10 mins walk from the centre of town. Staff were helpful and friendly, and they have new bikes you can borrow, which was great. I asked if they could change over hand towel in bathrooms / swap for paper towels due to increased government recommendations around COVID19, but this didn't happen. There are no fans in single rooms, which may be problematic in very hot/cold weather.

It's a good hostel as far as they go, and you're getting exactly what you paid for. Nearly every member of staff was really helpful, welcoming and friendly, with only one slight exception due to their overall demeanour. The ventilation of some of the rooms internal to the building aren't great, but the hostel provides a fan. You get all ages and types of people at this hostel, which is good. I felt pretty comfortable during the time I spent here. I recommend it.

Filthy walls and doors, creaky poor quality beds, noisy guests cooking late at night, poor value for money. Deleted my google review! Shameful Fortunately saved the text of the previous review: Dirty hostel, loud, people cooking at all hours with strong smells wafting in from the kitchen. Bathrooms were dirty without liquid soap or hand sanitiser. Booked a private room - bed was an unbelievably bunk that looked like it cost about $50 at Kmart - literally plastic and aluminium. Overall a very d
