We loved our stay at Hostel 28. The staff were super friendly, on arrival a map was pulled out for us and significant attractions to see were marked. We had a loft room on the top level, which was large and spacious. The location was fantastic!

The brothers who work there are amazing: they were even helping people in the hostel next door. Perfect location and lovely rooms. This hostel would benefit from having a lounge area and/or kitchenette. Would stay again.

The carpet was really dirty and also the smell wasn’t very nice. The location is amazing and the staffs really helpful and kind. Brugges it’s such a beautiful place, I recommend going on a walking tour and this hostel is perfect for a short stay, I really liked it

Location was very good but atmosphere/facilities were lacking a bit (no kitchen, ac or common area). Also, the pictures on hostelworld are nicer than the rooms in person, was a little disappointed.

    Very Good

Really nice staff and good hostel, but no community feel - pretty lonely for a solo traveller. Also you could hear everything else happening on your floor, and I wasn't a fan of the lack of window in my roof room but apart from this it was a nice stay!

The place was okay. The staff were friendly and the location was really good! The rooms look a lot better in the pictures. We had a room with an ensuite, which is a bit run down. Shower was a push button - so it stopped every 2 seconds, which is pretty annoying to be fair. Overall the place could do with a bit of a updating so it looks as nice in person as in the pictures

The staff was very friendly, but they were rarely available at the front desk. The bathroom was very dirty and had no lights. There was no heat during our stay, and we were given an attic room in mid-November with only one blanket for the two of us. We were able to leave our luggage in lockers all day after checkout, free of charge. The location was decent-- fairly central & approx. 15 minute walk from train station. Had to hike up a lot of very steep steps to the rooms.

Worst place I have ever stayed. Check in was very difficult, and room was horrible. The walls were thin and we could clearly hear our neighbours having intercourse and music from another room, keeping us up all most of the night. We decided to check out a night early, and we’re promised a refund for the rest of our booking. After paying for a different hotel, he called me and said they did not want to refund me and had already taken the full charge off of my card. Horrible stay, lying staff. 0/10
