This hostel was really well located and close to the train station. The workers there were really friendly and let me extend my stay two nights on short notice! I was in a room on the end that had its own bathroom and sink which was so nice. Overall, would definitely stay again!

The hostel's main floor was nice and had a room to hang out. However, the rooms are super small and only have two outlets for 4 people. So that was very inconvenient. For the price, it was way too expensive for a basic bunk bed.

No soap provided - not even in the restrooms. Please Change that! My room was alright, with own sink in the group sleeping room.

Great location near the train station. Staff was a bit rude and charged me €1 to print a boarding pass. Pillows weren’t the most comfortable either.

I booked through hostel world and they charged 19 euro as an advance payment for full 128 euro payment. But upon arrival the guy at hostel charged me full 129 euro when I asked him I already paid 19 euro and you supposed to deduct only the remaining amount then he said its because hostel world is an Irish company and they charged you the VAT and didn't show you. He also shown me the email to him from hostel world to charge full amount that pretty strange so I payed two 129 euro plus 19 euro.

Ok for one night but try to avoid. Quite costly, but location is the only good thing about it. I slept in better beds during my military service. No kitchen. It was mostly ok clean, but the building is old and the toilet and the bathroom somehow didn't feel higenic. Biggest problem is security: they leave your key outside. The receptionist was ok, but he wasn't helpful and had a bit negative attitude. Ask your guest card for free public transportation, otherwise they might won't give it to you.

Location is the only good point, close to HBF. So if you are in Garmisch for treks and just need a place to sleep, only then u might opt to chose this. Otherwise I do not recommend this place. Rooms are okayish clean. Lockers in my room were broken. Beds uncomfortable, there were Just 2 charging plugs in room so it can be inconvenient. Just 1 shower per floor. Small common room, not fun.And the worst is the staff, there was just one and he was rude, arrogant, not welcoming and not helpful at all
