The staff is great, cool people with a good vibe who are helpful and supportive and they speak fluent English. The boiler's water pressure in the washrooms might be low and therefore it can be not so easy to get a hot shower in the morning when lots of people are using them. Ambiance: I love it! If you want to socialize you can meet new people. Overall it was a good spot to stay in Mexico City's Centre.

This place was great for the night I was there. The bathroom can be packed shading it with so many people, but everyone was considerate. There also seemed to be lots of people lounging around at reception and I found someone asleep on a couch upstairs. Unsure of everyone’s circumstance here, but free breakfast was a great way to meet people and here is a great location for the middle of town

The hotel was secure enough, and they were reliable in waking us for an early flight and organising a taxi. But the kitchen facilities were not good. You needed to go down a flight of stairs to reception to get them to unlock the cupboard for utensils, plates etc. There was a large frig but it didnt seem to be working. The bar was closed, the public telephone didnt work. Some reception staff were more helpful than others, b ut there was little tourist information.

The location is great and the interior looks according the age of the building. Unfortunately, the room I was staying , lots of water was coming from the ceiling ( I had to get some towels to dry the floor), plus when I arrived to get the keys, the front desk didn't have enough keys for the room. The asked me to open the room and to bring the key back... Last and not least, it's better not to offer breakfast (people was eating cereal without milk cuz the hostel had non)

This place felt too much like a homeless shelter to me. I'm not opposed to homeless people staying in hostels, but I do feel like the hostel should try to match you with roommates who are in a similar situation to you. If I'm on vacation, putting me with someone who is living there isn't going to help me meet people who want to explore the city.

One of the worst hostels I've stayed in over 40 countries. It had no atmosphere or comfy hang out spots, the breakfast was awful and consisted of only bland cornflakes, they had no actual bowls (had to use a mangled up polystyrene bowl, others had to eat cornflakes off a plate haha) and the bathrooms were filthy, with every urinal half full of p**s because the drains were mounted halfway up the bowl; meaning there was always a very strong urine smell. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
