My stay at hostel amigo was amazing. I met a lot of nice people from Mexico in this hostel. For me it was very nice to be with people from Mexico and not hangout just with extranjeros. When you speak at least a bit Spanish you will have a good time there with a lot of culture exchange. The breakfast change everyday and was the best in my hostel history. When you search a crazy gringo backpacker hostel then hostel amigo is not for you.

I enjoyed my stay at Amigo Hostel. They still got some things to fix as the mattresses but the place was clean and the breakfast was good. You got what you paid for and it's OK.

Great place to stay, in the city center and great atmosphere with backpackers. The only aspect to improve (a lot) is the breakfast. It was just sugary cereals and bread and not even toasted.

Extremely nice and helpful staff, the rooms are nice but I wish there was more air circulation. Good location, there is a bit of everything around including a great panadería, metros, buses and metrobuses. It was my first hostel stay but it was a great first experience!

Hostel Amigo has a pool table for fun games. A computer for adventurous searching. A TV bar area for good music and movie watching. Plus Hostel Amigo has hot showers. Hostel Amigo is located near a bunch of historic parks and monuments; and is just minutes walking distance away from the Metro Train Station. The mornings are usually welcoming with a breakfast complemented with coffee, tea or milk. The staff is one of a kind willing to help you with your needs and actually use a translator if need

Get what you pay for. The dorm rooms only have a skylight which is depressing. It's a great location if you want to be in the centre. Staff is nice, beds aren't super comfy. Breakfast was decent.

Good place for a quick night stay. But I wouldn’t really recommend it. Although it does have a great location

It is a cheap place near the Zocalo but most of the people there are workers so it hasn’t got the hostel vibe you would look for in hostelworld. The bathrooms were mah!, and the water didn’t have any pressure. Some mates smoked in my bedroom and, even if other hosts knew about it, the staff did nothing. It is cheap, it is OK, but I don’t think if I’d come back.
