Our room types vary from twin rooms, which come with en-suites, to mixed dorms for those who like bunking up with other travellers. Don't worry about bringing any bed linen with you, as we'll give you fresh sheets for free. You can pick up a hairdryer or towel at reception for a small price, too. We've also got free Wi-Fi in every room for unlimited social scrolling.

    Superb

Had a really great stay at Hostel Cosmos Amsterdam during our visit to Amsterdam. It's located near to the Museumplein and the famous Albert Cuyp Market. Toilets are clean and the beds are comfortable as well. The 24 hours reception was also a definite plus point as we had to check out really early in the morning and although the check-in was in the afternoon, the receptionist allowed us to deposit our baggage and come back later at night. Wonderful staff with thoughtful gestures! :)

Great, except for the fact that I have multiple bed bug bites from my time spent there.

The position of the hostel is great. The rooms are tiny and so are the beds, we stayed in a 4 room dorm (we were 4 friends all together so we didn’t have much trouble with other guests, but the space was ridiculous). Our room was super noisy: we could hear all the noises from the other rooms and the street. The staff wasn’t very much polite either. Wouldn’t recommend to anybody really.

It actually isn't that good. Hostels in Amsterdam are way overpriced. You get what you payed for, but it's not enough. Angles in the walls' bedrooms are dirty, there is only one bathroom for an entire floor. In the mornings it's impossible to find an available shower. The kitchen is extremely small and without facilities like an oven. Besides the tiny kitchen, there aren't spaces for sharing with other people. The Thai girl from the reception was a sweetheart, the most positive thing.

This hostel was adequate, but I noticed some issues that made my stay difficult. The bathrooms were insufficient and had long waiting times. On the top bunk, I lacked access to an outlet. It also seemed less secure than others, so I slept with my luggage. Finally, I woke up in the morning with my face swollen, so much so that I couldn’t open my eye, which makes me call the cleanliness of the facility into question. The staff is friendly, but overall I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The hostel was nothing out of the ordinary. It was clean enough and the location was okey. The beds were worse than standard with mattresses covered in rubber-material. The main reason I did not have a good experience from this hostel is that when I arrived back at the hostel at 3AM to sleep after a night out, there was another guy sleeping in my bed. Apparently the hostel staff had assigned him the same bed as me and we had to sort it out in the middle of the night. Not okey in the slightest.

Having a member of staff ask someone to get out of there bed and into another at 3:30 am through no fault of her own. Because the hostel hadn’t put numbers on the beds so it was impossible to figure out which beds were ours so we picked the 6 beds that had clean bedding. Bedding wasn’t washed when other people arrived! All round disaster and a joke to say that we paid over €100 for three nights and for this dreadful service!
