Had such a good little stay here for one night! The staff is like family and they are super helpful with all the need to know things of the city! Everything was clean and so perfect! Artwork all over the walls! Just a cool creative place hidden in the alleys of Agrigento!

Well centred hostel in a beautiful city. As expected, because of covid19, it was very quiet, but I can imagine this place would be packed in normal high season. Hostel could provide all the necessary facilities and information about your stay, would definitely recommend!

So the staff and location perfect! There was nothing they wouldn't do for you. It was very clean. The main drawback is no heating APART, from in the room. The heater was necessary, otherwise it would have been freezing there too. I think it's also to do with the fact it was a few floors down, (almost like underground). Also I practically felt the bed springs so it was very uncomfortable, along with no adequate duvet - which in Summer no problem! In winter, price should go down for these reasons.

It’s a great location. They need better signs to find it. Outside of that super clean, very safe, and has a very large common area. Staff were very nice. Especially the main guy who’s there and runs the place. Again location is the best. 👍

The owner is a lovely guy who cares a lot about his guests. Big common areas, which I had mostly to myself since I stayed there during low season. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but ok for one night. The historic centre of Agrigento is a maze of narrow alleys and stairs, but if you follow the (simple) directions here on website, you will find the hostel easily when coming from the bus or train station. Restaurants and sights in the old town are just a few minutes walk away.

I didn‘t knew what to exspect after I read the mixed reviews on this site, but I enjoyed my stay here and can recommend it. Hostel Dimora has a big common area and a giant kitchen for free use. Since I stayed in low season, the hostel was pretty empty and I met only few (but great) other travellers. Staff is lovely, but there was not always someone around who could speak English.

Overall, I felt the hostel was a little quiet -- there was almost no conversation with other guests in the common room area, for example, and the kitchen was closed at the time of our visit because of corona virus. The owner of the hostel was polite and efficient, but could have been more helpful - for example, the vending machine in the hostel swallowed my money and he said that he would get in touch with the provider but I never heard anything more. However, the hostel was very clean.

Pretty grimy place. Especially the floors were not clean. The general atmosphere combined with how close the beds were in the dorms (nevermind covid, I guess) reminded me of military barracks. A cheap place to sleep, but that’s all.

People are too generous about this place. The beds were too close. Defiantly not value for money. You’d need to pay more like way more to get more. Need to change that. Also shower were ALL broke. We could use two and both were not in a good shape. No one EVER at the desk so if you want to ask someone about ANYTHING they are probably not there. Only plus could probably check out at any time even after like 3pm and they wouldn’t notice (I think anyway)

Hard to find place, staff never at the desk, kitchen a disaster (everything missing), no breakfast, huge old refrigerator with only one shelf. You feel abandoned.
