This was my first time staying in a hostel. I’d have to say it was a great experience and I recommend this place to anyone. The reception personnel are GREAT! They were able to assist with pretty much anything and everything. Location was right in the middle of everything, or at least within walking distance. Seemed to me like the cleaning personnel were there every day so facilities are kept up nice. Ps......make sure to eat before pub crawl! Lol

Hostel is very central, easy to walk to anywhere. I would highly recommend the walking tours. I went on 2 with Suzie and they were brilliant even if it was freezing outside. Rooms are basic but spacious and comfortable. I image the atmosphere would be great in the summer but not as many people around at this time of year

The place was good, a bit old but clean. All of the receptionist are nice and helpful. And There’s a free tour everyday in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon as well. The tour we had was with Suzie, tour in the old town of prague. She is very informative, knowledgeable and funny. She treats as like a friend/ family not just a client. She is easy to get a long with plus a good photographer 😊

Super recommend the Downtown Hostel! The staff was really nice, rooms with enough space and super comfortable and the location was perfect! Super central and close from all the tourist attractions! The only problem was that in the bathroom there was no proper shower and this made a little bit difficult to wash hair and take a good and relaxing bath.

It was a great hostel with so many tours and activities for each day. Although we have checked out in the morning we could join the free dinner at the evening. Also the free walking tour of Suzie in old town was really nice. We ate in the place she suggested for us and it was a really good place for czech good. The hostel has a good location and a great breakfast for its price. Thank you :)

    Very Good

    14 Feb 2020
We had a twin room with a private bathroom and we stayed for two nights. The bathroom was very clean and nice. The room was okay, it smelled a bit old, but it's probably just because the building is older. The common kitchen area was really big and overall great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
