Enjoyed the stay! It was close to a bus stop which made it pretty convenient. One small issue was that the showers didn't seem to have locks which we found a bit awkward.

This is a nice hostel a little out of the way, but it's family run and the effort is there. I emailed to say I had a late flight, and again when my flight was delayed and I was nervous I would check in on time - no reply. I caught a taxi from the main bus stop which cost me 140 kuna (not the hostels fault but just saying don't do that!). The boat tour they offer is amazing for the price, highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning location right in the mountains, only a short ride on the bus to the old town. Actually is nice to be away from the city. I stayed late September so it wasn't very busy but I still met some interesting people. Not sure it is was bed bugs or just mosquitoes but got bitten quite a bit. Overall nice stay.

Bit out of the city but there’s a bus that gets you right to old town and they come about every ten minutes, making the travel easy. Each bed is assigned a locker which was great, the staff were pretty friendly and helpful and the kitchen had what you needed. It wasn’t a super social environment, I stayed there with friends but if I was alone it would’ve been a bit strange.

As far as budget accomodation goes, it wasnt too bad. Location is a long way from the town, but a day bus pass is only 30 Kuna so it isn't expensive, and it's a nice and quiet area. Weird social vibe, but with friends would be fine. There's also a great day boat tour with lunch and unlimited drinks for 200 Kuna which everyone said was awesome.

I had a really great time at this hostel. The pool and the open air kitchen area make for a great atmosphere for meeting people. The day trips were also great. Even though I I know they work hard to keep the hostel clean, I think it's important for people to know that there were bed bugs in some of the beds. I had them in my bed and had a severe allergic reaction to the bites. I also saw two other people with bed bug bites on them. When I told staff, they did move me to a new room.

The place is functional, and cheap. Easy to get into Dubrovnik. Owner isn’t the happiest guy but we didn’t find him particularly rude and generally he seemed pretty cooperative. We paid for our stay upon arrival and got a receipt for it then and there I would recommend doing that. The area around the hostel is stunning to look at as well. The rooms have lockers for your stuff but they weren’t v secure, our room was unlocked 24/7. Pay in € for your stay. Good if you are on a strict budget.

The hostel was clean and check-in was simple. However, the kitchen lacked equipment; I could find 2 bowls and 2 cups. Not even a mug to have a cuppa tea or coffeee! The air con in the dorm room was left on all night and no-one was around to help turn it off. It was FREEZING!!! The showers are uni-sex which I didn't find appropriate as the doors on the showers are flimsy and half of them don't even close properly. The shower cubicles are tiny and there are no hangers to hang your clothes.

Not close to town, simple bus to Town but don’t think the hostel should be called centre. Shower leaked and aircon did not work. We saw 1 staff member twice the whole time. Wouldn’t go in the pool and the bar was a bit local and we felt like a hassle to the server

Sometimes hostels are too big for their own good - this is one of them. No atmosphere or vibe, just large dorm rooms. We were offered a free beer on arrival which didn’t end up being free, leaving bags at reception after checkout @10 (pretty standard for a hostel) cost 5€...
