Nice staff, good location and I've met nice people. Really enjoyed my stay. The only point is that my room didn't have fan so it was quite hot during the night.

After reading the reviews already on the website for this hostel I was not sure what we would make of this place when arriving but, when we got here - super quick from the ferry point which was an added bonus carrying our pack backs the hostel was clean, secure and our room was fine for what we needed :) the mattress was not thin like paper as described and I had a good night's sleep :) If going back to the area I would stay again! Thank you

Nothing special, breakfast is just bread and jam/butter with coffee. Nice hammocks in the courtyard. Great location if you need to catch a bus or ferry. Staff are courteous, WiFi is okay, rooms are spacious with AC. No real atmosphere to meet people.

Nice little spot. The rooms were spacious and clean. The lady at reception is darling. She's very friendly and helpful. Like all places in Uruguay and Argentina, I wish the accepted credit cards. I'd stay here again. The guy on night duty was kind of loud in the lobby with his music, but he turned it down when I asked him to. We were only there for one night. It was definitely good enough.

Despite the bad reviews me and my girlfriend thought we would stay here as it's only situated a few blocks from the ferry/bus terminal. Friendly staff although limited English which you should expect everywhere, chilled atmosphere and comfy mattress. Anyone stopping by for a few nights, it will be fine trust me :)

Nice common area, good kitchen and specious room. Read on a comment from February about the WiFi not working, i ddn’t work during my three days there. No security, dorm door always open. A guest stayed with a dog in my room, and during the night the dog started barking a few times, waking everyone up, but the staff didn’t do anything about it, even when other guest complained. Breakfast is poor.

The hostel is an old and poorly maintained building. The beds seem to fall apart and the mattress is the kind of cheap foam. Showers are not cleaned and someone had the brilliant idea to install a power plug, which is falling apart too, in the shower (I kid you not). The breakfast, a basket of old bread and a tiny bit of jam, seems to be only added to tick the box on Hostelworld. This was by far the worst hostel I've seen in several months in South America.
