These were the most clean, comfortable beds I have ever stayed in at a hostel. The kitchens were incredibly well stocked and the overall vibe was comfortable, mellow, and social. Staff was available and friendly. Perfect place to stay after a day of hiking and being in the outdoors.

Beautiful hostel in a great location. The common room and dorm rooms were kept very warm during winter and the showers always had hot water. Great dorm beds, best i’ve ever stayed in! They had curtains for privacy, a PowerPoint beside each bed and a little shelf above the bed. Big lockers were available for your bag as well. Great kitchen facilities, cute backyard. The common space was a bit small though, would get very crowded in peak season. I could easily walk anywhere in Pucon!

A really nice hostel with great facilities in a good location. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The beds have curtains which is great if you want a bit of personal space. There wasn't much of an atmosphere when we were there. People seemed to keep to themselves so it might not be the best option for solo travellers. Overall we had a great time.

A quiet hostel that had everything we needed for our time in Pucon. Kitchen well equipped and a large enough space to have multiple groups cooking. Bathrooms are great and cleaned regularly (as is most of the hostel). Staff mostly exceptional apart from one grumpy guy. Outside space is well set up for chilling on a sunny evening. Our room could have done with some brighter lighting and had potential to be noisy due to being downstairs but everyone was respectful after hours! Loved it

We stayed in French Andes II in a private 4 person room while 3 other friends stayed in French Andes I in the hostel beds and had a pleasant experience. However, the first night in the private room, the shower leaked to the floor below so we had to move out for 1 night and move back in but they compensated the inconvenience with a 10% discount. There are many tours you can book through the hostel and it is about a 10-15min walk from the bus station and the center of the town.

Like the place. However, paper thin walls. If you plan to wake up early in order go hiking, etc, don’t expect to have a corresponding early bed time. Doesn’t seem like there are quiet hours - if there are, they are not remotely enforced.

    Very Good

    29 May 2019
Great location to stay as within walking distance of town (and a big supermarket very close). Great kitchen area to prepare your own food, and nice sofa area to chill out (but would imagine it would get pretty hectic in high season). Room and bedding was comfortable - good duvets! Staff didn't really interact much with people staying there even though there weren't many of us. Great shower facilities - but would benefit from more than one shower room.
