I choose the hotel because of its price, location and experiences in the past. The bunk bed and the room was clean, the bed sheet was changed daily. The curtains give a sense of privacy, an electric outlet was within the curtains. The toilet/shower did not have a lock and was very small designed (room 141). The breakfast was great, coffee plenty...https://gerhardwanninger.wixsite.com/travel

Not the most stylish or modern place to stay, but totally adequate. Breakfast is above average. No wifi service except in the ground floor common areas. There were 66 steps to my room on the highest floor. It is close to some key transit stops, so getting around is pretty easy. No lift and no air conditioning. Next time I'm in Brussels, I'll try to find a better place to stay, but if I can't I would stay here again.

Booked a bed in a room of 6 and was yet greeted by 7 beds! Even the staff said 6 bed.. When checking out the staff ignored me standing in front of him and began making phone calls. Breakfast looked good. This place is best for a couple nights, not long term stay in Brussels.

It was a very scary and dark walk to this area. Great 24h check in. Borrowed a charger for the only outlet plug on the wall that wasn't working, walked up 4 floors, very dank sleeping area, had fans but did not reach the top bunk, the common CR has no lock, and there were wet towels on the floor. The breakfast is great though, a spread of bread, cereal and cold cuts with coffee or juice. The staff was accomodating.

The pictures for the hostel need to be updated to reflect the actual state of the rooms. When I arrived, I was given a room but there were no clean beds. I ended up having to find clean sheets and set the dirty ones aside. There was no real common area for people to meet up and it all seemed rather disorganized. The WiFi didn’t work either which was very frustrating

The property was really dingy. The people there were mostly older. They had a good breakfast and our bed was fine. But the place had a very strange vibe.

If I could rate it a 0 I would. We arrived after the sketchiest walk to the hostel and thought it would get better from there but unfortunately it did not. Do not stay here is you’re a solo female traveller, you will feel uncomfortable once you leave the Brussels-Midi train station, and the doors are not locked at the hostel. We purposely stayed out later and left the next day because it was so sketchy. Do yourself a favour and stay central and in a better place!!!!
