Hi Apart from dodgy wifi, which seems to consume us all anyway. This place was a delightful surprise. Lovely solid bunk beds, massive storage and plenty for each person. I had a room with four bunk next to another room with six. My area had it's own bathroom and no one else selected any of the other four beds so it was almost like I'd booked a room to myself. Breakfast was great and just loved the staff. Location right between train station and city centre which was perfect.

The place is both a bit rough and ready and really cool. I loved the beds and huge locker space, the breakfast was good and in a lovely room, and I really liked the area and staff. There's was a flea market on the square and the walk to the centre is only about 15 mins and takes you past interesting shops and places to eat. The bathroom was fine though not an ideal arrangement. I only did the walk from the station in the day time but found it completely fine.

I choose the hotel because of its price, location and experiences in the past. The bunk bed and the room was clean, the bed sheet was changed daily. The curtains give a sense of privacy, an electric outlet was within the curtains. The toilet/shower did not have a lock and was very small designed (room 141). The breakfast was great, coffee plenty...

    Very Good

Loved the curtains on all the dormitory beds - nice to have extra privacy and means when other people staying leave at 6am it doesn't disturb as much! The room to our dorm was never locked which could be a security concern. Breakfast was great.

Really good free breakfast, friendly staff and good kitchen. Wasn’t a very social hostel in our opinions. Hostel is quite far from the city centre but in a cheap area of Brussels. Personally think if we were to return to Brussels we would try to stay in a more social hostel. Overall not a bad experience.

This is a very rustic hostel. it is very cute, has a great staff and is in the middle of an antiquing district. HOWEVER, the door to my room didnt lock, the beds had only one outlet so I had to unplug my light to charge my phone, it was not as clean as I would have expected after staying in other hostels. There was breakfast but no bar and the bars on the street all closed very early. I spent most of my time 10 minutes up the street.

BE WARY OF BOOKING HERE. I was absolutely eaten alive by bed bugs including bites to my face and near my eye. I had 2 hours sleep and when I finally was able to get help at the front desk I got a cash refund which wasn’t the full amount I had paid. The bites were so bad I Ended up needing to get medication and further costs to hot wash all my possessions. Very unsatisfactory and I haven’t yet heard back from my complain email direct to the hostel. BE WARY OF BOOKING HERE.

If I could rate it a 0 I would. We arrived after the sketchiest walk to the hostel and thought it would get better from there but unfortunately it did not. Do not stay here is you’re a solo female traveller, you will feel uncomfortable once you leave the Brussels-Midi train station, and the doors are not locked at the hostel. We purposely stayed out later and left the next day because it was so sketchy. Do yourself a favour and stay central and in a better place!!!!
