Great stay overall. The good: location was really close to a main metro station, the free breakfast was very good, the rooms were very clean and nice, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bad: the Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby. We had a very nice stay there.

EXCELLENT location and the friendliest and most helpful staff I've ever known! It was a big treat to stay here. Loved that there are three metro lines from the Chabacano metro station. Made getting around super easy! Thank you to Javier and Carlos!!

We stayed for 3 days. There is absolutely no atmosphere which was a little crappy ad th hostel is definitely more of a hotel but the staff are all lovely and helpful which is what made the stay so nice.

Great location being so close to the essential and cheap Metro station. Also, being a block from a Maxi, one of Mexico's big all-around store, was helpful for getting essentials. I slept on the top-most floor in a women's only dorm. Good to be farther from the bottom with music playing nearly 24 hours a day and louder travelers. Having a window was necessary for letting air flow and humidity out. Some other rooms had no air flow and mold growing. Sweet staff and simple breakfasts each day.

    Very Good

As many others have said: it’s more of a hotel than a hostel, in the sense that it’s not much of an atmosphere and not that easy to meet people. It was very easy to find the metro and to get around the city, and I felt safe in the neighbourhood the whole time, so no complaints there. The staff is soooo sweet and cool. We loved them! The room wasn’t too clean, the towels had bikes and stains, and the bad was borderline yucky.

Pro: Staff was very friendly and helpful The breakfast was very decent and the staff servers you the food unlike most hostel where you have to fight to get a plate. This hostel is very laidback, it's not a party hostel and older travelers like myself will enjoy it here. They hired a police officer to post outside the front door all the time so security is pretty good. Con: The internet was complete c**p and shouldn't be listed as perk. you can't even check your email with this internet.

I stayed here for one night to catch a flight in Mexico City to Puerto Vallarta. Something bad happened. I woke up early to catch my early flight and was ready to leave at 430am. The front door had a lock on it that required a key. I could not get out. I tried and tried looked for another door exit. I looked at the windows the windows on the first floor had bars on them. I made the decision to jump out of the second story window to get out. I ended up injuring my left foot. Awful.

I stayed for one night and paid cash. When I returned home and checked my credit card statement, I saw the hostel also charged me $40 for my stay. Either don’t pay cash or don’t pay with credit card, I’m not sure which, but get a receipt. Better yet try another hostel.
