Rooms are big and spacious. We offer private twin (bunk bed) rooms and dorms with 4 and 6 beds. There are lots of modern single bathrooms with non stop hot water.

So, please book at Hostel Lika, everyone is welcome to have fun with us, learn a lot about Croatia from real Croatians and we will be more than happy to teach you basic Croatian :).

    - [ ] I really enjoyed my staying at lika. Marko and Ilona made me felt as home, the are super working and friendly people. I stayed for two nights and in both, Marko made a grilled barbecue for everybody in the hostel. I totally recommend it. Really worth it.

First thing about the hostel is random free shots. :) Lika is'nt the perfect hostel but it's really valuable with the price. It's clean and comfortable and this is enough. But the most important thing about this hostel is the owner family. Marko and his family are great people and the environment in hostel is really cool. You should to meet with this cool people and to see how Marko could change the atmosphere inside. You can meet easily someone at hostel. And Marko serve free shots randomly :)

I never write reviews on website: but this is my exception. I felt like a king amongst men with the hospitality which the owners bestowed upon me. They made me feel right at home and encouraged socialising is a hostel with a great vibe. If I come back to Zagreb- I will return to Hostel Lika: hungry (or thirsty) for more!

    Fabulous

Owners are really sweet and try to make every one feel at home. The offer a drink at the bar in the evening and a cup of coffee with toast in the morning which brings a lot of the guests together. Rooms are fine and the beds are comfy, but the lockers are very small and the security is okay-ish. The is a fair bit of noice at the hostel at all hours, so sleeping is a little difficult. The hostel is closed between 10am to 2pm, which is little annoying, but one can live with it.

Lovely ownership! I should have triple checked if their was air con because it was a rough sleep mid-August. Even a fan just for some air circulation would have been great.

The owners where lovely. I meet some lovely people down at breakfast. The sowers were not very clean and qere getting black mold but other then that it was an ok standard of cleanliness but not 100 percent. Its quit a walk to the city so if your not going in every day its ok.

The room was not large enough for 6 guests, it was suitable for 4 people. The lockers would only fit a small carry on bag and only two patrons could use the room simultaneously. Due to tight quarters, the temperature of the room was unreasonably warm to sleep. No consideration was given to cooling the room. Towels are an additional 20kr and showers were a stall with 3 nozzles. Literally showering together. Breakfast did not include a vegetarian option or any fruit/veggies

There was nobody at reception, just a piece of paper with the Whatsapp of the hostel owner scrawled in marker taped to the door. Each of us were given a set of linens for the beds, some of which were stained slightly. The mattresses themselves were covered in bloodstains and other marks. The bathrooms were dusty and had grimy unwashed sinks. The tap in one barely had no water. There was no soap, towels, driers, or napkins. Not much food nearby in the area other than fast food.

The worst toilet and bathroom I had seen in my life. The owner Markus is friendly. But, I think he had some mad visitors in the past and so now the hostel literally looks like prison. The air conditioning was not working. Please avoid if you are planning to visit in Summer.
