For the price this hostel is unbeatable, walking distance from metro stations and also if you’re up for it about a 20 minute walk to the colosseum. There are many local pizzerias, bakery’s and shops which are all fantastic especially for aperitivo in the afternoon. The best aspect of this hostel is the staff who were most friendliest, helpful and happy hostel staff I’ve even come across. 10/10 just for the staff in this hostel :)

Hotel Lodi is a great deal! It’s in a safe location with easy access to major attractions in Rome by walking or public transport. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. I spent four nights there and would happily stay there again!

Unbeatable for the price. The hostel has a nice garden, which is a pleasant extra. The city center is reachable by foot, the metro station is in 10min. walk, but I recommend to go 15 minutes to the next one, which is on the red line and the trains are frequent.

The location is about 5 mins walk to the Metro station. It's away from the city but safe for solo female traveler. The staff were wonderful, it was raining the days I was there and they insist on taking one of their umbrella. It seems like a family run business, all were amazing. They were very nice and welcoming. Garden in the back is as pictured. The hostel room is your typical hostel room. Only negative thing is cash payment, so bring your cash.

It was my first time traveling solo and choosing this hostel was a wonderful idea! The hosts made me feel like home, they were always available to answer any question I had. The dorm I stayed in was very clean, and the beds were made every day. The highlight though is the wonderful garden, which really doesn't look big in the pictures, but is quite spacey in reality! Overall I had a great experience, and would recommend this hostel for first time travelers!

    Very Good

The location is in a nice neighbourhood, close to metro/bus or walking distance to all the attractions if you like to walk like me. The staff were very friendly, they made me coffee and fresh grapefruit juice from fruit in the garden. Although reception was very close to my room and sometimes there was noise coming from there late at night (people checking in etc) as it’s 24 hour reception. The back garden is lovely to sit and eat or have a drink.

We stayed here for 4 nights, we didn’t remember picking this hostel because it didn’t really look like the pictures... Security was weird, since we weren’t given a key and there weren’t locks to the main door or the door to our room...? So theoretically anyone could’ve walked in. Location was okay, a little walk to the metro and bus stations but not bad. The staff was so nice and helpful! But the cleanliness was subpar and there was no soap in any of the bathrooms.
