Spent two nights at this hostel, was offered a twin room on arrival as it was ready while the dorms were still being cleaned. The staff were very helpful, a map was provided and shown what we can see in the city. There was a door off the street that was always locked then the room into bedroom area also locked, then again your room so felt very safe. Good location next to train station and restaurants near by. Breakfast was included in price and was good. Enjoyed our stay.

Although the hostel isn’t in the nicest area, it’s closeness to the train is a perk. I loved my stay at Hostel Mancini the staff especially Brenda were lovely, she even helped me order my pizza delivery as it was in Italian. The beds were comfy, clean and showers were good also. I loved that there was air conditioning. I would certainly recommend staying here.

Great hostel, better than some hotels. But the location, while close to the train station and the metro, isn't in a great street.

Great spot, great staff, great security, and great effort on bringing people together into the kitchen for drinks every single night. Beds were kinda mediocre. I would say similar to most hostels, but I would return here if going back to Napoli. Downside is the kickout from 1030-2 or something like that so they can mop and clean and all that. Perk to that is that the hostel is legitimately cleaned everyday not just once in a blue moon. Its a smaller hostel which makes it great to make friends.

Absolutely loved this hostel. Great staff - happy to answer any and all questions. Great atmosphere in the kitchen/common room every evening, whether it’s free aperitifs or pizza night! Nice bedrooms, small, but comfortable. I personally loved the area, a short walk from the real buzz of Naples! The only two SMALL downsides for me, were the 10.30-2.30 lockout, reeaally sucks with a hangover. And beware the old guy with a beard and glasses (staff) Quite clearly dislikes all customers.

Great little hostel. Although it says it is "far" from the centre this is the best location if you want to explore both Naples and the area (Vesuvio, Pompeii and Amalfi Coast) as the train station is less than a 5min walk. Staff is really nice, and they go out of their way to help you.

Breakfast is very good compared to other hostels I've been to in Italy. The owners put a lot of work in it in order to make you feel welcomed!! (thank you!) Location is good, because its close to the train station, but in the night I'd feel a bit unsafe to walk in the region alone but I'd feel like that in the whole historical centre. Anyways, I WOULD ALWAYS COME BACK.

This Hostel is very clean - staff were friendly and helpful. Dorm mates lovely. The hostel isn’t modern but they have a working lift and it’s quite hostel like - perfect for budget travellers. Breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice.places to eat are close to the hostel Streets are dingy but seem to be safe while there are lots of people around. The market traders are getting their stalls ready at 7:30 and Naples is already buzzing at that time. If you are young or old you will enjoy .

The hostel it is very very close to the train station but the area is very filthy, full of immigrants and illegal markets. Me and other didn't feel safe at all there and if you travel alone you should reconsider!!! The staff and the overall atmosphere in the hostel were very friendly and helpful. In our room the bathroom was not very clean and the shower is very small if you are over 1.80cm.

Hostel Mancini says

I think our most unique feature is the array of bright colors in the hostel - it presents guests immediately with a happy and friendly atmosphere.
The historical city center is just a few blocks away and boasts such sites as the Duomo, the National Archeological Museum, the entrance to the ancient Roman and Greek aqueducts, three Spanish castles, and OF COURSE Naples\' most famous pizzeria, Da Michele just around the Hostel corner.
I particularly recommend to visit the Bay of Naples with Castel dell'Ovo and Piazza Plebiscito, which are beautiful and lively day and night.
You can also join our FREE walking tours.
Our average age group is 20-30, but we often have many families who choose to stay with us.
