It was good to have common areas and the layout of the rooms was good. Location was really great because it was a slightly off the most touristy areas so fairly quiet but still really close to most of the attractions. There were lots of bars and cute (and cheap) places to eat nearby aswell. Security could have been better as literally anyone can walk in but the atmosphere was friendly and felt safe. The male receptionist could have been more helpful and laundry facilities could have been better.

Overall good stay! Pros: great location, cool common area to meet other travelers, very clean bathrooms and I liked the 24 hour reception! Cons: very noisy at night because there’s a courtyard, although people aren’t supposed to be out there past ten, they are and due to the heat in the rooms the open windows let in a lot of noise. The doors to the rooms are very heavy and slam shut so you can hear every time someone enters a room. Also the cleaning staff was noisy in the mornings

WARNING for people with allergies/respiratory issues: the hostel uses insecticide patches in the staircase that could trigger a histamine reaction. I had a lovely time, but it would have been lovelier without an oozy throat. Pros: the location is terrific, just a minute or so away from Charles Bridge, and a walking distance from Prague Castle, with plenty of traditional restaurants nearby. Also, there are free-to-use safe boxes in the lobby, a full kitchen, individual outlets, and good showers.

Small hostel but with a really nice atmosphere, lots of young people and the kitchen and downstairs bar area were lovely to socialise in. Could have done with more bathrooms as there was only one for our whole 12 bed dorm. Other than that a lovely stay and very close to train station and main attractions in Prague.

The location of this hostel is perfect. It is close to everything you want to see in Prague and is an easy 25 - 30 minute walk to the train station. Just be aware that the private rooms are on the street side. The room was really nice, very large with everything we needed and the bathroom was huge. However, to stay cool in the summer you have to open the windows and the street is really noisy with some vehicular traffic and noisy revelers coming in or passing by at all hours of the night.

Friendly staff. Free safe deposit boxes at reception. Key cards worked well. Large lockers in each rooms (big enough for large backpack). Charging ports at every bed and clean ensuite bathroom. 14 bed dorm was very large and didn’t feel cramped etc. There’s are outside courtyard (quiet time 10-6). Underground there’s a kitchen and informal dining area with benches and sofas. Kitchen was well equipped. SUPER good location (right next to Charles Bridge). 10/10 would stay at Hostel Mango again.

We loved this hostel. Great location, nice staff. We had a room on the bottom floor next to the courtyard, which was extremely loud. The staff were decent about asking people to leave or quiet down during those hours, but I would say that this was the only big con. It just seems like other travelers need to be more respectful, especially knowing there are rooms right there. The only other con is the wifi works but is definitely super spotty. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.

Very good hostel. Totally recommend it. Pros: At the other side of Charles bridge so you always will walk the bridge which is beautiful. Next to the castle (10 minute wallk). Has kitchen, washing machine, drying machine. Good neighborhood with good environment. Big lockers. Nice common area.
