Miran was the most incredible host and completely shaped my entire trip in Mostar. Staying at hostel miran immediately I felt like I was welcomed and a part of their family. From Miran picking me up from the station, his simple free breakfast and spending the entire day on his tour I learned so much about the war and his experience to appreciate family, friends and life. I will come back many times and hope everyone can experience the beautiful country of Bosnia the way Miran does!

Miran is the most wonderful human! He makes you feel right at home the moment you arrive and to hear his stories and experiences from the war was nothing short of amazing. The city is raw and beautiful to explore and you cannot leave without taking his famous tour. The hostel is only a ten minute walk to Old Town where the famous bridge is, while the Sniper Tower is a close walk as well. Am waiting for the day I can come back!!

If you’re coming to Mostar you should definitely stay at Hostel Miran, and even if you don’t you should DEFINITELY do the Enjoy Herzegovina tour with Miran. Miran and his family went above and beyond in every way to make sure that all guests enjoyed their stay and had everything they needed. There’s an incredible breakfast every morning and Miran has answers about anything in Mostar or in the balkans. His tour explains his experience in the war and was a highlight of my trip

Miran is such a great host! He was very apologetic that there weren't enough people for the tour because it was low-season. The hostel was very quiet, but had a nice homely feel. My first night there were three other people staying, but I was on my own the second night. Overall, I had a nice stay, even though it wasn't very social. It is well located, about a 5-8 min walk from the old town. Down a bit of a dark alley, if that worries you at night (felt safe though).
