I would HIGHLY recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Mostar. Miran and his staff welcome you like you are a part of the family. It is clean, they have a delicious free breakfast, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, along with many other perks. My friend & I booked the day tour by Miran and it was absolutely the most fun I have had on my backpacking trip. By the end, Miran was like family to us. I can’t thank Miran enough for his wonderful hospitality and forever friendship. WE LOVE YOU!

Hostel Miran made my stay in Mostar. It’s a small hostel with a very nice and homely atmosphere. The location is perfect, short walk from both bus/train station and the city Senter. The war tour by Miran was my highlight of the trip - I advice everyone to do it! Listening to his own experiences from the war is very moving and gives you a deeper understanding. The beds are nice, rooms clean and the free breakfast is really good. Visiting Mostar this is definitely the hostel you should book!

We had a great experience during our stay at Hostel Miran. The hostel is in an ideal location (+/- 10 minute walk from the old town), the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and Miran is an incredible host. In particular, his war tour is incredibly moving and was one of the highlights of our trip. Stay here if you visit Mostar- I can’t recommend this place enough.

Great place to stay in Mostar! The hostel is owned by a family, and it feels very much like you are coming home. The war tour by Miran is an absolute must. It's about 20euro, but worth every cent. He will customize the tour for you and it really adds a ton of context to Mostar and the Bosnian War. The rooms are a little cold, even with the heat on, but other than that everything is clean and comfortable. Very close walk to the bridge, city, and bus station as well. Would stay here again!!

Miran is wonderful but completely crazy..he told us with pride that if you google ‘crazy Bosnian man’ he is the first two results- it’s true. We checked! Overall a good stay, would have been nice if the lockers were a bit bigger.

Miran is great, he is really passionate about his job and does amazing tours. However, it is true that there are too many rules in the hostel (not using the kitchen after 10 pm, for example), and it seems like you are bothering Miran only by talking (after 10pm). The rooms are also pretty cold. The tour was however a highlight, we really suggest doing it, and you can ask any thing to Miran and he will gladly answer
