Hostel Suites Mendoza is right in the middle of town, making it a sweet spot for your adventure in Argentina's most famous wine-tasting region. As well as giving you freebies like a continental breakfast every morning and Wi-Fi all day long, we'll also help you book adrenaline-fuelled rafting, paragliding and hiking trips. If you're more into chilling out than boosting your heart rate, you'll feel at home in our ground-floor common room or firing up the grill on our spacious rooftop.

You'll find us in downtown Mendoza, right by Mercado Central (Central Market) – try the empanadas! – and three blocks away from the concerts and festivals held at Plaza Independencia. You'll find cool craft shops, typical churrasco restaurants and handy ATMs nearby. From El Plumerillo Airport, you can take buses 63C or 63D to reach us – just make sure you've got $5 worth of coins to pay with. Ask at our tour desk for buses to your next stop – maybe Panama or Buenos Aires? – if you're backpacking around South America.

Rooms and Dorms

We have private rooms – doubles, triples and quadruples – and mixed or female-only dorms, all with a bathroom and shower. You'll have a locker to stash your stuff in, as well as free bedding, and there's luggage storage if you're checking out but sticking around in Mendoza for the day.

Extras and activities

With a bar on site, you can bond (or debate!) with other travellers over your favourite Argentine beer. There's also a kitchen if you want to whip up one of your go-to culinary creations for some new friends. Make sure you sign up for one of our wine-tasting trips, too – they're a must-do in Mendoza, the home of world-famous varietals (we recommend the Malbec).

Stayed here 3 nights. Room was rather dirty especially the toilet. Bathroom door of the doom room didn’t close so lucky we weren’t sharing otherwise would’ve been rather awkward when wanting some privacy. Beds comfortable, stains on linen. Cooking facilities were good. Breakfast was just a standard cereal and coffee. Probably wouldn’t go back due to state of the room (cleanliness). Location is good just off Main Street so got everything you need close by.

Very basic hostel, room are very crammed, showers are pretty bad. Staff are not interested and unhelpful. Didn't get shown to our room so no idea which beds were free. Clothes for washing returned and hadnt been washed. Really run down. Could be good if the staff tried to be interested. We had a good time because we had a good great of friends. We got bitten loads though which was probably bed bugs

Worse than expected. The facilities were old and mostly dirty, parts of the wall were coming off and the lockers didn't seem very robust either. Not much of an atmosphere, not cozy at all and the area is not the safest at night. During the day in good walking distance to everything though.

This hostel is fine for a night but not great. The building feels quite run down. I find it strange that there's no soap in the bathrooms. We had quite a lot of problems with our room. The locks on the doors are really old and ours broke meaning that we were locked out of the room. Eventually the staff helped us get in but then we couldn't lock the door anymore, which didn't feel very safe. Also the door to the bathroom didn't shut properly, which idnt great when you're sharing with strangers.

Where do i start....poorly maintained rooms. Dusty shelves. Rusty shower. Windows did not close. Walls really dirty. Pillow cases did not fit around pillow, revealing the off white brown pillows. Not very pleasant to see. Staff was nice and location was decent.

A bad hostel. 3 bed private room w ensuite. Smelt mouldy, stains on the linen. Bthrm almost unusable, no button for the toilet - was a hole in the wall - the toilet water was almost spilling out. Had a shower & the water ran under the door, through the room & down the hall!! We were handed a mop to clean it ourselves. Asked to check out a day earlier & my $ back but was refused. They swapped our room but not much better. Needs a major revamp!!

AMERICANS, DONT COME HERE PLEASEThe female receptionist at the time of my check out was utterly disrespectful insulting and condescending(It's worth mentioning she uttered some Spanish curse on my way out) . On the rooms' backdoor there were different terms of service than the ones offered. For instance, checkout was at 11 am. However, this lady said it was at 10am. I understand that I must abide by what I signed but CMMON, seriously at the back of the room's door, the information is misleading.

When I arrived at this hostel, I was told by the staff member (male, red shirt, mid 20s) that he did not have any record of my reservation, which was made through the website. Despite having the confirmation email, I ended up having to find accommodations elsewhere in Mendoza. When I reached out to the website to at least receive my deposit back, they claimed to have been told by the hostel that I was in fact a “no-show” and not eligible for any refund. Beware!
