Great place with cute decor but very little vibe! Maybe a bit of music and some themed nights to bring people in would help! The common area feels like a library it's so quiet! Lovely staff and clean facilities. Good money value. Would stay again.

Overall it is a pretty good hostel experience for the price. There isn't really a social atmosphere and the common space is the second floor of a pizza shop so you're often surrounded by families there to eat at the restaurant. The luggage storage is open to anyone and unguarded so I felt a little nervous leaving my stuff there for long periods of time. Each bed has a charger next to it (at least in the 8-person room), which I really appreciated.

Nice hostel, about 10-15 minutes from Subway/JR station. Facilities were clean, good shower and toilets. The staff was friendly. The common space was part of the restaurant below, which felt a bit awkward at first but it had good food. The only thing really missing was the interaction between travellers and they could have been more proactive in promoting their area and give their recommendations of things to do/see.

The hostel is located far from everything except asakusa not very close to major metro stations, most of the staff aren't very friendly and there's little to no orientation to the area just a printed rules that you get handed. It wasn't very social and the social area above the restaurant is a little odd.

We could smell cigarette smoke through the whole building The mattress was basically non-existing, the pillows were rock hard. One of the sinks had no handle. Just an overall sense of dilapidation. We stayed in a 200 year old house and it was better then this. Would not stay again.

The staff were rude and didn't speak to us at all when we arrived just said card with hand out. The rooms were not individual there was dividers per amount of beds but you could hear every little thing on that floor and there must have been 40+ people. Got no sleep. We didn't get a key and the 'individual' divider door was not lockable.
