Hostel Waka Waka was the perfect hostel for our weekend in Marrakech! The staff welcomed us with open arms and hot breakfast when we arrived, even though we were early for check-in. The facilities were clean and we felt safe leaving our belongings there during the day. Perfect location right near the markets. Overall a great experience and value!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was fantastic. In particular, it was a pleasure to meet Siad. He made Waka Waka a home. When I returned to the hostel after my hike, he helped me take care of my blistering feet and taught me how to make delicious tea. Would return here every time I come to Morocco.

My stay at this hostel was great! The staff were all super friendly and very helpful. My friends arrived late at night and we had to leave super early in the morning and they accommodated us with no issues. The hostel had a really good atmosphere, with music playing all day. Keep this in mind if you want to sleep early, but it helped the hostel have a relaxed environment. Overall a great stay!

Staying at Waka Waka was a very fun, and different, experience. The staff, Muhammad, was very friendly and really try to make sure you have a good time. The environment is very chill and the other guests are very friendly. Overall a good experience, the only downsides are that it can be a bit hard to find, so make sure you have google maps pulled up.

Good location, good staff, good security. Only bathrooms and toilets are a little dirty. But if we think the money it is the very good hostel in the Marrakech compare to other hostels fee. Thanks Mohammed the staff.

Wake Waka is a special place. The WiFi is terrible, the water pressure is lacking, and the locker security is somewhat suspect—but it’s crazy cheap, and the location is hard to beat. I met so many cool people here, and all the staff were very chill. Breakfast was a good bonus, and I also ate a couple other free meals with the staff. The rooftop is a very nice place to hangout, and there a couple tortoises that live up there. 10/10 would recommend to a backpacker passing through

Great hosts, good location and lovely music! Saeed and Mohammed, thank you for the warm welcoming and support. On the facility side, lots of improvements are needed for toilets, showers and other facilities. The place is old and requires higher maintenance. Hot water wasn’t consistent, towels weren’t fully cleaned and room spaces are tiny which caused a little mess from all the luggage.

    Very Good

I have enjoyed my stay in the hostel . Saeed and Abdullah were really helpful and very cooperative. In general it’s good value for money Apart from its pros I think it’s management need to spend money on its repairs as I have been to this hostel quite a few times but this hostel management needs to spend money on its wear and tears.
