What a lovely family! If you want a break from English foreigners and want to practice your Spanish and be in a a cosy family home, this is your bet! The bike shop is a few blocks away and doing all the wineries that way is amazing! We had such fun and the family are so sweet! It is far from town but I far preferred being with a local family and exploring the wineries by bike. Really amazing family!!

Fantastic home to stay in and the family is more than accommodating. There are 10+- wineries all to the right and left of this hostel and city center is 17 minutes in taxi away ($400-500 arp). Be sure to bring cash from city center as you'll need it for everything including paying for the hostel and there isnt access to atms in the pueblo. I’ll definitely be going back for a longer stay in the near future!

Loveliet hosts, with a nice relaxing atmosphere. Very clean, with loveliest hosts. Was a popular place with other travellers who were looking to explore the wineries. Perfect location for exploration of wineries with a 10 minute walk to two bike rentals.

We loved meeting the family that owns this small hostel. They were the cutest! When we arrived, they had everything ready for us and explained the best wineries to visit and gave us a map. It's very close to Maipu Bikes and a few kioscos to buy foods. We were the only ones we met that day staying in Maipu rather than Mendoza city, but I think more people would enjoy staying in this quiet location. It's not fancy but we felt welcomed.

This hostel is amazing if you speak or want to practice your Spanish! It’s basically a home stay, with part of the family living there (Maria full time, and Alejandro and Gabi coming in and out.) its a small operation, so not 24 hr reception. We were the only ones there when we stayed so don’t expect a party atmosphere! It’s PERFECTLY located if you want to be in walking distance of ~10 wineries. It is not in the city of Mendoza so don’t be surprised. Loved it (but only if you speak Spanish)

Such a great family! Perfect location for the wineries and an easy bus ride to the city center. Super chill atmosphere to escape busy hostel life. Definitely beats staying at a hostel in town if you want a day or two at the wineries.

A real pleasure. More like a home stay. Maria, Alejandro and Gabrielle were a pleasure to stay with and couldn’t have been more helpful. Good placement in the middle of Maipu wine region. We were a group of 8 who booked 8 dorm beds but they kindly gave one of the couples an extra room with a double bed and en-suite. Would stay again! Probably not great for a solo traveller as you might be the only guest! Only 16 beds in the hostel.

Lovely place to stay! Great location next to the two main bike hire wine tours, and close to all wineries. Family run, everyone was SO lovely and helpful, even with language barrier. Just note that this is very much a basic family run hostel, good for chilling out.
