Very nice hostel with very clean, spacious, comfortable rooms. Feels more like a hotel than a hostel. The staff were friendly. Not much in the way of atmosphere, there are some tables and chairs in the reception are and kitchen but no real common areas. Only down side is the kitchen is terrible - hardly any pots and pans or equipment so if you’re planning on cooking you might find it a bit difficult. The breakfast wasn’t great either.

Overall we had a good stay here. It was a short walk to town and the hostel had all of the basic facilities we needed. The staff were helpful and they also organized our tour to Perito Moreno which was handy. The only negatives were the WiFi was terrible and the breakfast was just bread and jam. Would stay again though.

A little hostel, almost like a hotel. A lot of families stayed there as well. The rooms were clean, staff friendly and they helped us with the trip to the glacier. The kitchen though didn’t almost have any equipment, only 2-4 knifes, a broken pan etc, so it was difficult to cook. But luckily El Calafate is full of nice cafes and restaurants.

Good location next to the city center, although a bit far from the bus station. A mediocre experience. The bathrooms were not that clean.

While it got the job done for the night, I wasn’t really impressed by any aspect. It’s a 25-30minutes walk from the bus station which is... awful for early buses. My breakfast (pre paid) was cold slices of bread (no offer to toast) and a small cup of coffee, while the staff wasn’t really talkative and only answered direct questions. Overall it was fine since I just stayed the night but I would pick somewhere else if coming back to El Calafate.

Rude, uninformative and not interested in any questions you might have, the staff ruins it for this hostel. Even when you speak Spanish to them, they completely ignore you and continue with whatever they are doing. We had to change our reservation about a week before we arrived and did it through the website- we received a confirmation of the change and the new dates. When we arrived at the hostel they first refused to acknowledge the change and after showing them all the confirmation and comm

This hostel was my worst hostel so far in all my Argentina trip. First, the lockers are bad build, my boyfriend got a cut from one of the lockers screws sticking out. The sound isolation is also verybad, i could hear the guys from the room next to mine talking all night and could also hear every step of the people upstairs. The manager was super rude. The kitchen is also very bad equipped, they lock everything so you cant use it and if u want to borrow a pan to cook they tell u to go & buy one.

There are no toilet seats. I checked the women’s bathroom too. Wtf Staff wouldn’t print my bus ticket because I didn’t buy it from them. Broken lights in the common area make it very dark. No pots or pans to use. This place should be delisted for the toilet seats alone. I had to go to a cafe to use the toilet for a few days which was a 12 minute walk and required a purchase
