Hotel Akash was a wonderful stay in Pushkar. The staff are always eager to assist in anyway they can. Along with the tasty food served in the rooftop restaurant it is the perfect place to chill after a day seeing the sights.

Four of us stayed here for 4 nights and felt very welcomed. Great place to relax and chill, and also in a great location. Food was fabulous and so were the staff! One of our group wasn't very well and Pavan kept asking how she was and if there was anything he could do to help. Rooms were clean and we slept well with the ceiling fans. Only minor improvement could be an additional toilet/shower, especially for when 'Delhi Belly' strikes! Thanks for a great stay!

Hostel was well centrally located, it was quiet but I think that was due to the off season. Owner was very helpful with booking onward travel.

    Very Good

Rooftop area was really nice, John in particular was very helpful and friendly. Wasn't particularly social when we were there. We had a private ensuite room, I wouldn't bother getting the ensuite if we were to stay again but apart from that the room was good.

Difficult one this. The room was 10 times price of normal hostels but it was festival time. It was basically a concrete shelter with holes for windows. At first I felt blessed as it was akin to what Joseph and Mary were offered in Bethlehem. On second thoughts I decided that it was probably where their goats slept. Still an experience !! And if you do have goats I would suggest that you give it a try.

I had to cut my stay short at hotel Akash. The description listed on hostel world is deceitful compared to the actual experience. I discovered that the cafe is no longer open. And the place is fairly run down. The mattresses are very stiff and during my night there I noticed that all the staff vacated the building but left the lobby door open and unlocked. In the night this part of town is very noisy. I've paid more for rooms and less while on my travels but this was the lowest quality yet
