Great place! I stay in this hotel each time that I visit Bogota. One could not ask for a better location. Students walking around everywhere at night and lots of great places to eat and drink at the "callejon" that is two blocks away. The hotel has a lot of old history, which I appreciate. The area is safe and the hotel is close to all of the important sites of Bogota. Highly recommend.

This place has a special bohemian atmosphere away from the backpackers crowd and right in the centre of La Candelaria. Very spacious three storey building with a great big kitchen, well equipped and free coffe all day long. Showers work, bathrooms are clean, toilet seats would be nice. Friendly owner and staff. Seems to be a good place also for long term stay.

I really enjoyed this hotel! It has a funky, old feel to it, and it is right where you need to be. Lots of students walking around at night and plenty of cheap eats nearby. The building has a lot of history, and its creaky floors and old look appealed greatly to me. A quiet spot to lay low, nice and close to everything.

The hotel is situated in a convenient location in Candelaria. The hotel has maintained the atmosphere of the 1930-40s. I stayed in a single room with shared bathroom. The room as well as the bathroom were clean. The staff were helpful. Good value for money. If you do like the old-fashioned style, you must like it!

This is a very economic art deco hotel which has not been "renovated" thank goodness. It's in a very convenient location in Candalaria, close to coffee shops and restaurants. My room was a good size with a cupboard you could padlock. The shared bathroom was clean with very hot water. There is a kitchen which looks as though it's from a museum, it has a cooker and is reasonably equipped

Great value for money. Great location with nearby museums, cafés, restaurants. The rooms are good, the bed (matress and cleanliness) could be improved. As could the cleanliness in general (shower curtains could do with a wash). I did not feel uncomfortable though. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very good hostel considering what you pay. Perfect if you want to rest, as contrary to the other hostels, doesn't have loud music playing all the time. The area at night can be a bit complicated though, but with daylight is all good. Located next to many museums and universities.

You get what you pay for at this price point, you don't expect much. The location was great, the night was peaceful between 11pm and 6am. The worst was the lack of soap in the toilets along with the lack of toilet seats. Oh and the WiFi is not so good upstairs. It's cheap and I would stay again.
