Hotel Zara recently has been renovated to offer the customer the right atmosphere between simplicity and elegance. It offers a nice quiet area for watching TV, a little library with English books where it is possible to borrow or exchange them, internet point with Fiber Optical connection (LAN) which is situated in a nice bar area. This is also a good place to gather with friends for a chat!

The two managers are also the owners of the hotel. They are two young guys that, with their flexibility and disposition, create an atmosphere that is really friendly and familiar. They are ready to show you all the beautiful sites of Naples on the map for you then to keep.

The rooms are furnished with an elegant natural kind of wood which, with their wide space inside, could host five guests. All rooms have a bathroom included, heated in the winter and cooled with air conditioning in the summer, TV, central radio system, phone for outside call, internet access and depurated water.

Very friendly hostel and was close to the main train station. We were given a map and some recommendations of things to do. If I was back in Naples I would stay here again.

The place was very nice and super convenient right near the train station. The staff, overall, was very helpful and kind and the place was kept up nicely. My room smelled like dog and urine in spots (thankfully not the bed :)) and at times, they were not very responsive to open the door. Overall, a GREAT place to stay!

Nice place, don't let the rather creepy surroundings delude you! Very near to the main railway station and airport bus stop. Extremely clean. The view to the inner courtyard is of course terrible, but this is Naples!

Despite the area for this hotel not being the greatest, the hostel itself is great! Stayed in a double en suite room, which was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was great as well, great value for money. The staff are so helpful and friendly, and the free breakfast was fantastic as well. Located right by the train station and was so easy to get to sorrento and Pompeii. Only downfall was no safe for belongings in the room and the area the hostel is in. Overall an amazing hostel!

Our experience was great! Although not in the nicest neighbourhood, the hostel was clean, our room was spacious enough for the three of us, and the staff were lovely. We were quite late for our check-in time and it wasn't a problem at all.

    Very Good

The hotel itself is decent, but it's in the super sketchy hang-on-to-your-organs district of Naples. I didn't really feel safe until we got into the building the hotel was in (you do have to buzz to get in, as you have to leave your key at their reception desk). Avoid coming here alone. That said, it was conveniently located by the main train, metro, and bus station. We couldn't use our balcony because they were always drying towels on it, yet our new towels were always still damp...

We stayed here for one night only. The hotel is in a rather undesirable area; very dirty etc, however is very close to the central train station which is also where the bus to the airport departs from, so location is very handy for most. The hotel itself is secure and clean enough. No wifi in the bedrooms which is a bit annoying, you have to go down the hall to the 'internet area'. There is a 24h reception. Suited our purposes for 1 night, probably wouldn't recommend for a longer stay in Naples!

You get what you pay for. Loud on the streets until late at night and then loud early in the morning again. Staff makes a lot of noise while making breakfast, if your in a close room, watch out. Rooms are small. Our room only had a sink and we shared a toilet and shower with other rooms. Location is close to train station but the streets are like the streets of Naples ..... lots of people trying to get your attention.

Was horrified to walk into the room to an A4 sized notice asking for hotel customers to write to the local mayor to complain about "non-EU persons" in the neighbourhood. Absolutely unacceptable for an establishment of any kind to be requesting their customers to make racist political statements on its behalf. Was one bathroom for the entire hotel which shared both the shower and the toilet which was difficult at times. Will not be returning to this establishment.
