Great location in Hull with easy walking access to museums, waterfront, shops etc. Glen was a very informative and welcoming host. Comfortable dorm bed, OK shower & access to little kitchen was useful too.

The host was absolutely fantastic; really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the local area. I also missed my train and he let me stay another night for the same price, which really helped me out of a bind. The hostel is in an attractive building with a perfect location for sightseeing, right next to Hull Minster, and with an inviting entrance hall, comfortable beds and all the facilities you would need: lockers, kitchen, toilets, showers. Would heartily reccomend.

Ideal location close to Marina & the interesting old town part of Hull. A great welcome by Glen & enthusiastically ran and managed by him. Full use of well equipped kitchen, Tesco Express across the road. Situated close to the museum quarter. Plenty of pubs, wine bars, eateries around the marina on the site of the old docks. Great VALUE for money.

Welcoming stay. Mattress basic and could do with upgrading to thicker style re frames. At some point I am sure the facilities will be upgraded, but it was good value for what I paid, staff good, no atmosphere but this is due to the sign of the times sadly. Would use again now use to the Bells! Many thanks Jacqui

Good for travellers , people stopping by and young groups etc. Beds are comfy but I wish I didn't have to press the shower button every 5 seconds for warm water but it is what it is.

look. it's fine. not exactly a bustling hostel industry in hull at the moment and the hostel reflects this. The volunteer staff who let me in before my check in time to leave my bags was very kind especially. some people are living at the hostel indefinitely. overall impression was that if I had to come back to Hull for another night I would probably splurge for a hotel room.
