Good hostel. Obviously not a very central location but its a peaceful setting and you can easily take the metro into the city. Our room was advertised as having an ensuite and it didn't but it wasn't a huge deal. Only major complaint is the security. The doors to get into the hostel itself were always unlocked even at night, and the room didn't have a deadbolt lock. Lockers in the room were 2 euro per use which is a bit ridiculous.

The distance to Barcelona was too long. But the room we stayed was really good!

The front desk was very helpful and spoke English. He also printed my tickets and travel paperwork for free. There's a restaurant but not alot of options, so bring your own and eat out at the patio. Best view of all of Barcelona if you're into nature. At night, the lights lot up the mountains and it's magnificent. My room had big windows and it faced the mountain side.

great Staff, diverse crowd, lovely atmosphere in the hills. However, Covid has clearly hit them hard and they have a common room with sofas in their pictures but this is not available to guests and is rented out. On sunny days you can recline outside but one day it was raining there was no where bar a plastic chair or your bunk bed to relax.

Not near the city at all (which depending on preferece could be a good thing) all around the hostel has beautiful greenery. Place was clean and felt safe.

If you plan on going into the city often and you did not rent a car I do not recommend. Once you walk up the hill with all of your stuff a couple of times you will understand. If you do have a car. It would be a nice place that is way quieter than the city to relax. Other than that, it seemed clean and has a pool and restaurant to hang out at. There seemed to be a low number of staff (2). Only security was lock getting to room. Also our door jamb was busted.

The premise of the hostel was great - i think more places should operate on an equal employment basis. However, some staff (but definitely not all) were less than friendly. One main problem we had was the cleaning staff coming into our room while we were still in bed and refusing to get out. They kept telling us to leave even though we had two more nights booked. While trying to explain this to them they kept pushing their way further into our room. Also the food available is less than average.

I'm ambivalent... I loved my experience, but the place isn't great. Not for anyone fussy. It's on top of a long hill, a fairly exhausting walk when coming home even without luggage. That plus the (quick and easy) 20 min ride to the city made me quite reluctant to leave the hostel, or go back n forth in the day. Wish I had gotten a mini guide/introduction when I arrived after dark, you need a map at first. Populated by weird interesting characters. Kitchen and bathrooms sucked. Few supplies.

I was overcharged by an unfriendly ignorant receptionist who refused to let me go to an ATM and pay later as I'd forgotten to stop at one on the way after 24 hrs travelling to get there. It was my fourth time there in a year but the customer service has really taken a dive. They argued with me that "all taxes included" didn't mean all taxes but only VAT so I was forced to pay double tourist tax plus hefty bank fees for international card tx. It's an amazing location but let down by bad staff.
