Property Description

IF YOU WANT Hostel is a space for traveller who love the hostel life. We provide all for a backpackers needs as wifi access, rooftop terrace, kitchen, movie room, caf? and coffee bar, self-service breakfast with homemade jam, traveling suggestions, tourist assistance service and bicycle trip. Whatever you need we are here to help you at our 24h reception and check in.

The location is prime for the city of Sukhothai as it's only two minute to bus stop for 'Old City' by walk and 10 minutes from bus terminal by local taxi. We are located in the heart of Sukhothai city so you can easily walk through the local area and get new experiences. We are surrounded by night markets, parks, restauarants, bars, a pub street and the tourist assistance office. And if you want to go to a place a little bis further away from the city (for example the Sairung Waterfall or the Ramkamhang National Park) we have different transferring possibilities.

Sukhothai is not only the ruin. Help us to improve the town while your travels.

We believe in responsible travelling and we hope to provide travelling with purpose. We have a regular activity "cultural exchange" every Monday - Friday (except of thai holidays) in a local school. You can share your skills to help the local students improving their English speaking skills, share the world and enjoy some time with them. You will get new experiences and insights in the daily life of thai students and teachers. If you want to join us just ask our staff. ^__^

Every Tuesday morning we have the activity call "Clean Walk". We ask our guest to join walking around Sukhothai area and keep the trash from the road to clean Sukhothai.

We are a social hostel and everyone can be part of this place. We developed a concept called 'Co-Hosting'. This means that guests can share their skills and knowledge with other guests and locals. We believe everyone has her*his own worth and everyone has something to share with this world. So if you want you can offer a small evening activity or workshop at our place - we will help you with everything you need. And of cause you are invited to join the activities of our other guests, too. Cooking, crafting, yoga, sports, learning new languages, a movie night ... no limits are set to your fantasy.
'The miracle is this… the more we share, the more we have.' (Leonard Nimoy)

Not only our Host will take care of you. We are connected with the local community. We also have volunteers who become our friend to help us take care of everyone.

Another reason for staying in the 'New Town' of Sukhothai is because the Old town has no bars or pubs, so if you want to connect with people - the New Town is answering you.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us and we look forward to meeting you! View House Rules

Just love the atmosphere in the Hostel, the staff are really friendly and very helpful, I was there during the festival of light which is up at the historical park, it was amazing, the park is the main reason to visit Sukhotai but the Ramkhamheang national park is fantastic with a 4km+ 1000m elevation climb, there an amazing waterfall and a reservoir if you fancy a cool swim. Sukhotai is also a peaceful place in comparison the Bangkok and Chang Mai, make sure you pay a visit.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Cool vibe with hammock although bar / restaurant was a bit useless with seemingly little food and drink.

The staff is really nice! I would've like if the rooftop was in a better shape, it looks like it has had better years and it has so much potential!

Staff were great, really happy to help with any enquiries I had. The location is a little far away from the old city but you can easily get a bus there for 30 baht. The hostel itself seemed a little empty and needed a bit of care, the rooftop was messy and had beer bottles left outside.

It was ok, the main reason I stayed there was to experience the school exchange. When I arrived (early in the morning before check in) the host told me that I could go on the exchange and that the teacher was coming to get me. I waited for almost two hours and was then told that there wasn’t any school in October...very frustrating. There was no city litter pick either which was advertised. The lady on the desk was super sweet and apologetic. Wouldn’t stay again though.

Nice enough hostel. Beds were not very comfortable and as it was low season there was only myself, one other solo traveller and s group of 6 meaning there was not so much of a social atmosphere. Bathrooms are a bit run down but had hot water in the shower. And good air conditioning

Based on previous comments and the overall rating, I expected more. The entire hostel was very dirty, especially the bathrooms. I saw how they were "cleaned", which was completely useless. Also the room was dirty and the blanket seemed to be suspicious (I was glad to have a sleeping bag with me). Breakfast however was nice and the guy at the reception friendly and helpful.
