I had a great stay at the hostel. I'd probably stay again there if I will go back to Kyoto. There were also English and Japanese speaking staffs who attended me at the counter. The place was clean and I had all the things I needed. Highly recommended.

The staff was so nice and the hostel itself was nice and cozy. It is a little bit away from the hustle of downtown, but not anything too crazy. It’s easy to travel by bus to get to wherever you need to go. The bathrooms were clean, they had a set of lockers to put stuff, but they were very small. Overall, it was very nice.

Great for the price. We chose this place because it was better value than the other places around. Had a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

Location was great, but for the price I didn’t think it was anything special. They didn’t have lockers asides from one very small one you could use, literally to store passports and such. It was clean, staff was very friendly, bed was a little uncomfy but from my travels in Japan was to be expected. Overall a pleasant experience

Great hostel but more of a hotel. Can't complain due to the cheap price. No common room but the cafe is nice and you can bring what you want there. We had 7/11 breakfast and beers at night there. Biggest downside is the super uncomfortable beds that are rock solid. This seems to be pretty common for some other hostels in Kyoto though. If the 800 yen you'll save is super important to you definitely stay.

Kitchen and shared space facilities were a bit limited and it was hard to stay quiet in dorm as the bedsheets and door were quite loud but otherwise everything was clean and location was good.

I was kind of disappointed. My stay was fine, but what small problems there were bothered me. The food was over priced and only decent which wouldnt be bad except for the convenience store only a hundred meters away. The staff were friendly but i honestly had trouble finding them from the crowd because they wore fairly casual dress and no nametags. The chef just seemed like some random dude working behind the counter. It was very odd. Security for my belongings was practically nonexistent.
