The hostel prides itself in cleanliness and security and it definitely delivers in those areas. Great location with a stones’ throw away from parque poblado. Nice staff eager to inform you about the different things that can be done in Medellin. On Thursday and Friday the breakfast includes Calentao(traditional local dish) which varies things up.

comfortable beds! Big thick mattresses. Lacking water pressure but much better than other places. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is very dark after 11p so if you are looking for a place to stay up late or party, this is not the hostel. This is cute, quiet hostel to relax in! Enjoyed my stay and I was happy I could sleep.

A good hostel in the poblado area. The hostels staff were really helpful, the breakfast was good and varied day to day. WiFi was good, hot showers and a bit of socialising! All the rooms open on to the main corridor though so if people are socialising it’s noisy and bright in your room!

We had a lovely stay here. The outdoor hammock area was relaxing. The private room was quite small but it did have everything we needed. Of all of the hostels we have stayed in the kitchen area here was the cleanest and the breakfast was really nice. The atmosphere was a bit quiet on the first night and although there were activities advertised it didnt seem like they really happened. However more people arrived on the second night and the atmosphere really picked up then.

Very nice, helpful staff and great breakfast. The female dorm we stayed in was clean, however it was very noisy as it was right next to the outdoor area and we could not shut the windows. The beds were very uncomfortable, would recommend not using their pillows. It was about a 10min walk to the train station which was good and one lady even offered us an umbrella to use when we went out and it was raining. There are plenty of good food places nearby.

This hostel is okay, but my private room was next to the reception area, so I could hear everything. The indoor window had a see through curtain, so anyone sitting outside my window could look in, which was kind of weird. Probably other rooms would be fine.

Good value for money in a convenient spot for exploring Poblado. The hammock area is a bit claustrophobic, but the high stools out the front are a nice people watching / breakfast eating spot. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was decent, with a lovely traditional breakfast two times a week. Would stay here again.

This hostel is in a great location near Poblado and has loads of restaurants and shops nearby. We stayed in a private room for 4 nights. Bed was comfortable and shower was hot. WiFi was also fast! Breakfast was eggs with either fruit or cereal. Only two cons: 1) walls are super thin! You can hear every conversation. Not a problem if other guests are sensible after 10 but could be a problem otherwise. 2) curtain in private room is see-through and anyone in the dorm bathroom can see straight in

I only stayed one night so I don't have much to say, but let me tell of my adventure when I got back at 3am after a night out drinking, just to realise the my bunk bed didn't have a ladder! The guy on the bed under me was sleeping very close to the edge, so there was no way for me to use his bed as a ladder (only way you can get on). Luckily the guys next to me were still out, so I climbed on their bed and then hopped on mine. Not good. Also the room was tiny, and had 6 beds but only 4 lockers!

I booked a private room for two nights, at the time of arrival, they informed us that our room was by mistake double booked and we couldn't stay. The people at the hostel were kind enough to book for us another room, at the same price, two blocks away from InboXchange Hostel. In the end, our stay in Medellin was nice, the people of the place we ended up staying were super polite and kind. I guess if you want to avoid surprises you might choose another hostel. Though our stay in the end was nice.
