General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
The booking deposit is non-refundable.
Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 1 week prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

Please note that special hostel guidelines, terms and conditions and additional surcharges apply to bookings of 12 or more persons. For further information please contact us directly at reception@ip-hostel.com.

If the total value of the booking exceeds 300 €, we will require a deposit of 50% of the total amount. Please transfer this to us within 10 days and contact us.
If the booking is cancelled or modified up to 3 months before the arrival date, no fee will be charged. If it is cancelled or modified within the 3 months or in a case of no-show, 80 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Beachten Sie bitte, dass bei einer Buchung ab 12 Personen gesonderte Hotelrichtlinien und zusätzliche Aufpreise gelten. Für weitere Informationen wenden Sie sich bitte direkt an die Unterkunft.

Übersteigt der Gesamtwert der Buchung den Betrag von 300€, benötigen wir eine Anzahlung in Höhe von 50% des Gesamtbetrages. Dazu nehme einfach telefonisch Kontakt mit uns auf.

Stornierungen und Änderungen, die bis zu zwei Monate vor Anreisedatum erfolgen, sind kostenfrei. Stornierungen und Änderungen, die verspätet erfolgen, sowie Nichtanreisen werden mit 80% des Preises der gesamten Buchung berechnet.

Property Description

We are the hostel made out of red bricks. Our team is young. We are the destination for Berlin visitors with a big thirst for adventure and a small budget. Our large lobby including bar, table socker and a pool table, as well as the guest kitchen and vaulted cellar with ping pong table are great places to meet other guests and just hang out. Above that you can watch the most beautiful Industriepalast sunset of Berlin from our exquisite terrace.

The Industriepalast offers you not only huge and spacious rooms for groups up to 8 people but also favourable single and double rooms that meet a hotel standard. Every room has a splendid view of Berlin and is as clean as back home at your mom's.

We are right at the interface of Berlins 'IN'districts Friedrichshain, to the left, and Kreuzberg, to the right. That means you can dive into the exciting metropolis flow 24/7. With the popular clubs Watergate, Berghain and Matrix being just a stone's throw away, you can experience Berlin's nightlife by food. If that's not enough, there are plenty of other famous Clubs near by. Our hostel is also surrounded by countless bars, reasonable priced restaurants, trendy stores and typical Berlin locations all in one place as you will not find it elsewhere in Berlin.

To do a proper Berlin sightseeing tour you just need to make a few steps out of our door. Here, well-known from several movies, the Oberbaumbruecke, the Spreeufer, the East-Side-Gallery, the Mercedes-Benz Arena as well as the European Headquarter of Universal are waiting for you to be visited.
But if you want to go somewhere further away just rent a bike for little money at our hostel or use the public transport. The S- and U-Bahn stations Warschauer Strasse are only a two minutes walk away (simply follow the stream of people). From there you can explore Berlin easily.

The favourable room rates in the Industriepalast will sweeten your stay in Berlin just like our breakfast with fresh rolls, jam and of course the German speciality Nutella.

This was one of my favorite hostels for a few reasons. I walked in and staff had a big smile, the room was BIG, bathrooms super clean, and the best part it was less then 5 minutes walk from the S and U train. Which are the main trains you need to get everywhere. Good breakfast for 6€ and lots of other places to eat around it.

Everything is good for such a cheap price. the only thing is the paid bed linen should be in better quality, not torn and with visible big holes. The location is perfect, close to metro, meaning you could hear the metro passing as well.

Really liked it here partly due to some cool people I met there. Massive reception area with various spots for chilling out of using the wi fi. Comfortable rooms with on suite. Also a guest kitchen where a lot of the traveller interaction takes place. Lots of shops and eateries with trams and Warschaur Station across the road. Recommended.

Came during winter season and place was desolate. Location is really good and rooms are solid. Price is good too but they up-charge you for towels and sheets. Staff is unfriendly but I wouldn't say they're rude. Hard to sleep well in rooms because of lack of airflow.

The first night I got to the hostel I checked into my room and saw bed bugs crawling on my sheets. So I told the people at the desk about it and they were really nice about it and switched me rooms. But then the last morning I was there I woke up with bed bugs bites on my stomach and ankles. And right when I was leaving I saw a bug crawling around on the bed below me. I thought the place looked nice and clean but it had bed bugs in two different rooms.
