    Very Good

There where people sleeping in the common rooms during every time of day, we where not sure if they had a room there, because they had all their bags and clothing next to them. We didn’t feel safe. We left at 5 am in the morning, and people where sitting inside on the sofa next to the door, drinking Alkohol and staring at us.

I guess Stockholm is simply very expensive. We came quite late to the hostel, the were some miscommunication with check in despite that we wrote that we will arrive at 23 00. The room was tiny and had no window. Towels and bed sheets costed extra money. There is no cosy room to hang out in. The stuff was quite friendly. Kitchen seemed very unequiped.

We had a bad experience. Felt like it was a bit of a scam to charge extra for linen on arrival instead of just adding it onto the initial price. We had an aggressive drunk individual in our room who had got into our friends bed with our friends linen on and was threatening when we asked him to move. Couldn't find a security guard. Staff weren't too interested the next day. Showers had used tissues piled on floor. Room had no ventilation. Definitely better options in the area.

Very tight space in the 6 bed room. One locker assigned to me had broken lock and, nevertheless, had food in it from an existing, seemingly long term, resident of the room.

The hostel felt like a run down project and the guests were mostly old men, which resulted in a choir of snoring and sleep apnea shaking the bunk. Also, there were many dorms and the corridors all smelled of wet towel and sweat. If you have a sensitive nose and are a light sleeper then I wouldn’t recommend this hostel. They also charge you 5euros for linen. I normally love the hostel experience but this wasn’t one a pleasant one.

I have been staying in hostels for a long time but we had the worst experience in Interhostel Stockholm. It was dirty and smelly and the staff offered a quite bad service. When we were there some guys started to fight in the kitchen until they started to throw chairs against each other. The police came but after a long time because the receptionist call them pretty late. We left having payed for 3 nights, I asked for the money back but they refused to give it to me. We left anyway.

Apart from the tiny room with no window and no air circulating the whole place (room, hallways, bathroom) was dirty and smelly. The lady’s bathroom has a caricature with a showering lady and a •rec (recording) sign infront which was (apart from the dirt) one of the reasons I didn’t even want to shower there. The other guests seemed to be seasonal workers (so no other travelers) and were unfriendly and scary. An audacity to take 40€ per double room per night plus sheets!!! Sleep elsewhere!
