Next to castle so good location. Needs a wee bit of upgrading but it ticked all my requirements. clean and tidy. Free WiFi and a garden area out the back. Staff dealt with everything in a polite professional manner. Staff Sent email with entry instructions and property info which helped with the experience. Good comfortable stay with no issues.

We had great stay for 2 days, initially it was a small treasure hunt for keys and we enjoyed it. It was neat and clean rooms and kitchen. Imtiaz was great help. Would recommend everyone to plan their stay in Inverness in this hostel as Great location great facility in reasonable price.

Number 17 on the front door was the only marker; makes it less of a walk-in target. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was very small for 3 guests and only had one chair. Bunk design made sitting on the beds difficult and communal space was very limited. Good kitchen (again, small). Needs 'free food' area/box. Not sure all the food belonged to current guests and space was limited. Close-ish to city centre & riverside (where cars can be parked free overnight).

Advertised as a 3 bed dorm, little did I know that that third bed was a double and I’d have to share with another man. No staff, poor facilities and not as advertised. I’d stay clear of this one. Tiny as well

I don’t like to give negative reviews but this place was just grim. More a slum than a hostel in my book. It was like a student flat from the 1970’s . Rooms flimsily divided with plaster board, peeling wallpaper and paint mould on windows carpets pulling up and flooring that sticks to your feet. No on-site staff who send you txts saying they probably won’t be able to receive a telephone call. Hard to imagine they do a deep Covid clean. Truly the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in.

Not tourist /traveller standard accommodation. Felt like a homeless/refuge hostel. Arriving at dismal entrance door was a grim encounter. Adequate key lock system by phone but no onsite staff to address cleanliness issues-urine on toilet seat and floor, loose carpeting, broken step on stairs , no locks on downstairs back window, shower was broken replaced by a rubber hose to taps. Shabby and in disrepair. Adequate sockets in bedroom, clean linen. But lumpy mattresses and broken bed bases.
