Very clean and modern. Should highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the NYC area for a few days and looking for a fictional place.

Pros: They section off bunk beds with half-walls. Cons: The common area is incredibly nauseating from the bleach they clean the floors with. And there's a tv that often even just one person has blaring.

The location and staff are great, but if you are a light sleeper, this is not the right for you, as rooms don't have ceilings and thus you can hear doors and alarm clocks of the other rooms and also the subway. If you are fine sleeping with music or ear plugs, this is a good option to stay. The connection to NYC is perfect and the metro station just a few meters away. They offer luggage storage at the day of arrival and departure, which is pretty great.

Very noisy, loud trains and the rooms have no ceiling so you can hear everything, people talking and alarms going off. Toilets were not great either.

The 2-people room is extremely small, and also the location is simply terrible. It's right under the metro, so it's noisy the whole day. It does not have a hostel atmosphere, it looks way more like a place that people just go to sleep instead of a community.

This hostel location made me feel very uncomfortable walking through where it was based because of this I felt the security should have been better overall the building was very clean and smart the facilitates were all good I think for value of money this place was quite expensive as the room didn’t feel like a room it felt very small overall I think if you are just staying their for one night I would defiantly recommend but no longer than that.

For some reason the walls don't go all the way to the top for the top portion is open and you can hear everyone's conversation and their lights. The place goes through subway tracks so it's loud on top of all the guests speaking. The facilities were relatively clean, having cleaners come in every other day. The space is quite small. I don't think I would ever try this place again just because it's cheap because mostly the noise of people and subway tracks.

Quiet hours should be taken more seriously and implemented at night and in the early morning. Other guests were incredibly loud past midnight, as well as 8 am, even banging on doors and yelling first thing in the morning. There were also ants in my room when I first arrived that had gotten into my belongings. It also just felt wet throughout the facility. It's a great price, but I would only stay for one night again if I had to.

It was worse than expected. I paid for a private room and although it was small (which I don't mind), it was just four thin walls stacked together in a large room - there were large gaps overhead and I could hear everything going on around me, there was zero air circulation (in the middle of a terrible heat wave) and someone's clothing was thrown over both connecting walls between my room and theirs. I couldn't breathe, definitely couldn't sleep and left early to check into another hostel.
